Take advantage of your own heated pool, a rooftop deck, and a great location near the beach. Just as the name says, you will feel like it’s summer in paradise all year round.

Step inside and allow yourself to be wowed by 3,400 square feet of space. This large home can accommodate as many as 20 guests. Special touches include hardwood flooring and cheerful nautical decor throughout. Since this home is designed for large groups, it has a washer and dryer on the main and upper levels to help your clothes and beach towels stay fresh and clean. The gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped with rich, dark hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. There are also five different balconies for you to sit out and enjoy the cool island breeze. One of the most unique features of this home is the arcade-style video game complete with Pac-Man, Galaga, and 50 other classics. Summer House also has two Xbox 360 consoles located on the top floor den.

Outside, plenty of opportunities for fun under the sun await! Go for a dip in the private heated pool, outfitted with a spa, swim-up tiki table, and a water slide. The poolside lanai has its own bar and 42” flat-screen TV and games including ping pong and foosball. If you’d rather spend the day at teh beach, take the short walk from Summer House down to the beautiful white sand Gulf beach. Our pools are heated from NOVEMBER through APRIL and heating is not available from May through October. Pools are heated to a temperature of 82 degrees. Please note that outdoor spas are not hot tubs and will remain the same temperature as the pool. If you are renting from November-April please notify us 10 days prior to your arrival that you would like the pool heated. Pool pumps will shut down automatically if the pool temperature reaches the 70s due to colder weather and will automatically re-engage as temperatures rise. Reheating to 82 degrees after cold weather can take several days based on the severity of the cold spell. Due to Anna Maria Island’s strict noise ordinance pool pumps will not run overnight.

You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. This property requires a 7 night stay as set forth by Holmes Beach’s Land Development Code. Occupancy may not exceed 20.

We had the best trip at the beach house! Anna Maria Island is stunning and the pool and backyard felt like our own little oasis! The house was clean and the location was perfect. Close to plenty of restaurants and most importantly the beach! The only thing I would advise future travelers about
 if you plan to do your meals in, just be aware there are no key essentials in the kitchen. Plenty of cookware, but no spices or oils, or tinfoil, or anything of that nature, etc. Publix is nice and close though! Overall great stay! The pool and beach sunsets were the highlight! Thank you!

Nice Home!

This house was perfect for our group of three families. The beach access is just right across the road and the pool was perfect for relaxing when we needed to take a break from the sun. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals for our group of 14. Our only complaint was that the pool slide appeared to have been painted recently with a slip resistant paint. It felt like sliding down sand paper and the boys that tried to slide down it managed to tear holes in their swim shorts.

Holmes Beach Beach House

Location was great and the house size was perfect for our large group. We were able to walk to the beach and local restaurants very easily. Ice Cream shop was visited everyday! Beach access was good and we found the beach not overly crowded. The common rooms were well sized and the family never felt crowded. We did have a few issues however.Found dirty dishes and pots an pans in cabinets. Pool filter did not seem to be working well and the pool was cloudy and seem dirty by the end of our stay. Additionally the pool slide looked fun, however was not really usable as it is made from cement and the surface was very rough and no one could slide down it, even the little kids. Bathing suit ended up getting torn and bottoms scraped up. We also had issues with the washing machine not working. Called management team and they did have someone out right away to fix. The sleeping arrangement were very well suited for our group, however, the bunk beds were uncomfortable as the mattresses were very thin.Even the kids complained that the beds were very hard and not easy to sleep in.

Thanksgiving 2024

Family gathering at the beach with a grandmother, 4 grown children, 3 spouses, and 7 grandchildren. The house had good space for all. Easy access to beach and the pool with slide and waterfall, ping pong, foosball, and pool table kept all occupied. Property managers accessible and helpful.Lumber yard next door but with all the fun we were having it didn’t bother us. Great family spot!

Great week

We had a great time we were celebrating a 50th birthday. The slide was awesome but faster than we thought. We had a great view on the rooftop area and it was a lot bigger than we thought. The neighborhood was great a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops! We didn’t expect to be next to a lumber yard though and it was a problem for those of us with allergies and asthma. Overall it was a great vacation and great celebration.

Great house, good location.

The house worked out perfectly for our family. It was located in a very convenient area to local restaurants and the beach. The only issue was the lumber yard right next door. The daily trucks were a bit loud and the back up alarms on their forklifts woke some of us up earlier than we wanted. Not terrible just be aware that it is there. I had to contact the host for a couple of things and they were addressed very quickly. The biggest complaint would have to be the lack of kitchen utensils. The wasn't a cutting board or a basting brush which we needed for food prep and grilling. The "sharp" knives were very dull also. Also no lighter for the grill so we had to go buy one. Another thing to be aware of is that the ice maker is terrible and only hold enough ice for a couple of drinks. There was a second fridge in the garage which was good since we had to buy a ton of ice for our large group. The foos ball table was broken but, nobody cared. The ping pong paddles and balls were old and beat up so we bought some new ones. The pool table was good though. Overall I give this property 5 Stars because no rental property is going to be perfect and this place was very comfortable. The AC units kept the house nice and cold which was really great. My brother rented another house on the island at the same time and the owners wouldn't let them turn it down below 74!!!! It was uncomfortable in their house the whole time. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Excellent Family Time at Holmes Beach

Our week at this Holmes Beach location was thoroughly enjoyable! We had the space we needed to be comfortable! Restaurants were close to us (walkable distance ), the beach was a 5 minute walk, the house was decently equipped. I emailed a few issues to the management team midway thru our stay and they were highly responsive - they sent the person who takes care of this property out immediately. A few things could be refreshed (ping pong table equipment, some cookware) but overall this did not detract from our stay. The pool was a major hit! We would definitely stay in this area again!

Incredible property!

We loved this house! It was clean, well equipped, convenient and well located! We had 10 adults, 2 children and 4 babies. And we had plenty of room - the common area with kitchen dining and family area was perfect. The pool is beyond great- areas for the babies, slide and water fall and hot tub were all clean and ran well. Everyone loved the pool! The house is located 5 minute walk to the beach, coffee, breakfast places, dining and ice cream shops. We absolutely loved our stay and would return and highly recommend. The property was managed by Beach House rentals and they were extremely responsive through the entire rental process. Our only concerns were that the house had 2 trash bags, one roll of paper towels and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. We felt that they should provide more or at least we should have known so we Could bring More. Also the house is next door to a lumber yard that is very busy early in the morning. It really didn’t bother us but there were trucks in front of the house by 7 am. Aside from those two things, the house was perfect and as I said we would return without a doubt. It is a beautiful place!

Perfect for large groups

We are in extended family of 19 people, ranging in age from infants to grandparents. This house worked very well for us in this season of life, allowing for enough bedrooms, as well as shared space for all of us. The pool is perfect! Shade for the babies, sun for the kids, hot tub for the older folks. The water slide was a hit for the youngsters! The only thing that created a bit of challenge was the fact that the house sets directly beside a lumber yard, and understandably, there were trucks coming and going all day long. Other than that, it’s a great location with close proximity to all the local places: ice cream shop, coffee shop, workout gym, kids playground, surf shop, the beach, just about anything we could possibly have wanted!

We spent the week at this home. The large house and the location were excellent for our friends and family. The backyard pool with slide were the highlight of our trip. This was an excellent property and I would highly recommend to anyone with a large group.

Beautiful property, great location

The house was perfect for our group of 14. We were all adults and one 14 yr. old. We loved the pool and slide. The location is perfect! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and beach is only about 1.5 blocks away. We needed more forks, as there were only 10 for some reason and they brought some over right away. Kitchen had everything we needed, and then some! My only suggestion is a couple throw blankets for movie watching and maybe a privacy fence on the back of the property behind the pool. There is a gap in the plants there and the business behind can look in. Would definitely reccomend for a large group. We loved it! Beautiful. ❀

Great family place

The house and property were particularly suited for our family of six children and 10 adults. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and the big living room kitchen dining room space worked out perfectly for meals and fun times together. The pool with slide and Jacuzzi were highlights for all, especially the kids.

Great location!

This home was perfect for our family to making life long memories! The house was clean and as advertised. Upon arrival the master shower required servicing. Owners were responsive and issue was fixed quickly. We also rented a golf cart. Great option to drive to and from the beach, shops, etc Highly recommend!

Short Walk to Beach

We stayed here over Thanksgiving week. It is a short walk to the beach - though you do cross one street that has a little bit of traffic on it. (Though there is a lot of construction in the area and the "main" street is closed presently - - so that could account for extra traffic on that road.) Beach is nice in this area as it is far from a public parking lot - so not nearly as crowded as near the public lots. We had 3 families with kids here - and everyone was comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool and outside game area - adults hung out on the main floor. We moved the arcade game (on wheels) into a bedroom as it doesn't have a volume control. Noise problem solved and everyone happier. I wouldn't do toddlers here as lots of stairs - our youngest in the group was 8, oldest 15. Very short walk to a some restaurants and a shopping area - as well as a playground / park about a 10 minute walk away. The touristy part of the island is farther north - this is closer to the main island entrance (CVS/grocery store, etc). Adequate kitchen utensils and pots/pans. Property definitely gets used - owner was re-covering some barstools that had seen their share of kitchen use the week we were there. Basic beach supplies (chairs, beach cart, etc) in the garage - so that was a nice extra.

Great location, bedroom set up, perfect for large groups

We really enjoyed Summer House. The property surprisingly fit our blended family trip of 16 people very comfortably. The house is fairly well equipped with your daily needs and was reasonably clean. The location has a lot of pros, including VERY close proximity to downtown Holmes, so it is walkable to all the great shops and local establishments. As such it also nestled between Bradenton and Anna Maria, so you can get south and north quickly. It's only a few minute walk to the beach as well. The only con of the location is the lumber yard next door. Noise wasn't an issue at all, but there are construction trucks frequently next to the property or in front of and sometimes blocking the driveway but it didn't bother us. The absolute best part of this property that I doubt any others can match was the pool. The kids had such a great time with the grotto, slide and hot tub. We spent a great majority of our time out there and wouldn't have had it any other way. Lastly, there was a great center piece for entertainment when indoors, which was the arcade machine. Many hours were spent having fun and competing on the old legacy games like Frogger. We would absolutely stay here again and hope this review helps others make the choice to as well.

Friends vacation

We had a great time despite broken chairs around pool. Blender was broke and the floors were filthy. I mean walk 10 steps and your feet were black as dirt. Location was great. The refrigerators spelled like fish and made our food smell. Looks like owner does not put any money into this house to replace things. Ice maker not working. Carpets and furniture were stained.
