The Footprints house was exactly as described. The house is perfect for a small group, like 3 or 4 couples, or especially 2 couples traveling with children (one of the bedrooms has bunk beds). The house is a very short walk from the beach, which is beautiful. The pool at the house is terrific for cooling down on a hot day. The house location is also terrific, as you can walk to many restaurants (5 or 6 within ½ mile). In addition, Beach Retreats customer service was outstanding, from responding to communications to aiding us with returning a n item we accidentally left behind. We recommend their rental properties.

The kids enjoyed every square inch of the house. It was enough room for 3 adults and 5 kids! Being so close to the beach, allowed the kids to come and go to and from the beach and when the weather was not nice, we had the pool! The vacation was great and the house was just as we expected.

The beautiful home was very comfortable for our group of 6 adults and 2 three year olds. It truly was a one minute walk to the beach and easy walking distance to playground and restaurants. Would definitely rent again.

We had a great stay at Holmes Beach. With 8 people, we had plenty of space. The house was as described, and even better than the pictures. The beach is a 1 min walk. It was close enough that we felt safe sending our older kids and teens by themselves to the beach. It's a quiet street. There were plenty of beach chairs, a wagon, and towels. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, olive oil, and a few spices. The elevator was a nice amenity to have with aging grandparents. Everything was super clean upon arrival. Our only suggestion would be to add rugs to the bedrooms and living area.

Great Venue for College Girls Reunion

The property suited our needs. The elevator was very useful. The kitchen was very well stocked. There were several large tables and chairs that our group of six used quite often. The pool area was beautiful. Location and proximity to the beach was a real positive. There were labels everywhere that made our stay easier. Our group loved staying at this property.

Beautiful home, great location!

Overall, excellent. The outside tv was defective so we couldn’t watch tv while enjoying the pool. (Football season) Walking distance to ocean was wonderful. Plenty of beach towels, chairs and beach umbrellas. Lovely home inside and out. Beautifully decorated. Great time of year to go. Not crowded at all. Delicious restaurants nearby.

Lovely and relaxing getaway

We had a lovely time in this vacation home. The pool was great. Holmes beach access was so close (like 100 steps) and beach was amaaaaazing. We had a lot of fun playing ping pong too! The home had everything we needed in terms of cups plates, pots and pans. We did need to bring other items like soaps, shampoos, paper towels (they give you the small sample shampoos and one paper towel roll to start with), coffee pods for the Keurig or filters if you use the coffee maker, some spices, etc but it was only 4 min away from the closest grocery store so it wasn’t an issue. They were also great about letting us check in at 2p instead of 4 since our flight came earlier in the day. Overall great stay!!

Review of Footprints In the Sand

We stayed at this property throughout February and it was terrific. We needed a place very close to the beach because our grandchildren weee joining for a week. It was as close as you could get. Clare and Emma were wonderful to work with. They made our visit very special. The few minor things that needed to be fixed were handled immediately. The pool was lovely but did not get much sun. It didn’t matter because we were so close to the beach. It is a wonderful multi generational home that is walking distance to shops and restaurants. We made wonderful memories!
