Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives for this property
While the property had a few positive aspects, the negatives far outweighed them.
The biggest issues was an unexpected roof leak that occurred on day one, not even during a rainstorm. Despite notifying management, the issue was never addressed, leaving us frustrated and dealing with the mess the entire week as parts of the ceiling continued to collapse. Needless to say, the upper living area was unusable.
To make matters worse, the door to the only usable living area also had a leak, adding to our frustration as we used our own beach towels to soak up what rain water we could from the inside.
The property itself feels outdated, with a lot of wear and tear that's hard to ignore. Carpet was dirty and in need of cleaning, kitchen linoleum is in need of replacement, and water faucets were dirty. The game room turned out to be non-air conditioned and uncomfortable to use. And the homeâs wifi was intermittent and slow. There were exposed nails in several areas of the deck, which posed a serious safety hazard, especially for kids. The deck itself was unsafe, with loose boards and wobbly railings, making us hesitant to use it. The porch swing partially collapsed when one of its corroded eyelet screws holding the swingâs chains gave way as my average-weight brother sat on it.
On the positive side, the water pressure is good, the kitchen stove works well, and there is ample parking available. I would not recommend this property unless these serious concerns are addressed.
