Amazing stay
Where do I even start. This lake house was so cute. Clean and comfortable. The decor was cute, and the lake access was amazing. We used the Kayaks a few times and swam almost every day we were there. The neighbors were friendly and waved as they boated on by us on our little floats in the lake. There were plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies including a cabinet full of spices and other odds and ends stuff. The shower had great pressure, and having 2 bathrooms with 5 people was a plus. We were close enough to the highway for easy access to go traveling, but we never felt like it was anywhere near us while we were at the house or on the lake. I would say that if you prefer a softer bed, the Full sized one in the "mother-in-law" area was softer than the main Queen bed. My 14-year-old loved sleeping on the Futon in the sunroom and waking up to the incredible lake view every morning. Also, if you didn't know, Massachusetts has 36 unique spider species. I swear we saw them all outside the house, but that is to be expected in an area like this. We left most of them alone and they left us alone. I only reached out to the owner once to ask a question, but her response was timely and friendly. This was our first trip to New England, and we can't wait to visit the area again.
