The accomodations were good but the amenities were a little misleading. Showing pics of pools and tiki bars of a neighboring hotel and not opened to these accomodations.

We were happy with our stay. We had to call to get more towels but that was quickly rectified. We do suggest to have the proper size sheets and mattress protector whereas they were too small and wouldn’t stay on the mattress.

Wonderful Experience

This place was a great place to stay! It is right on the beach so extremely convenient to walk downstairs and be almost right on the beach. We walked to restaurants and shops every afternoon and the Tiki Bar Hut is the best place to hear live music and is a ten minute walk down the beach. The interior of this place isn't fancy, but that isn't what we were there for. We didn't intend on spending much time in the room as there is so much to do in this area. There was coffee provided, soap, towels, beach towels and a cart to carry your things down to the beach easily. We most certainly would stay here again!

Great place for the price

The condo is in a nice, quiet building with a beautiful view. 5 stars on the location for me! The condo itself is small but comfortable for 2 adults. We had issues with the door code at checkin but the property management company answered my call on the first ring and got us right in with no further issue. The kitchen is not very well stocked so if you are planning on cooking meals, you might keep that in mind. The condo smelled a bit like mildew upon first entry but once we opened the patio sliding door and aired it out, the smell dissipated. I would stay here again, its a great condo/location for the price point.

Perfect place to stay in Hilton Head!

If you're looking for a place to stay on Hilton Head Island, this is the perfect place! It's right on the beach, nestled in between two large (read: super expensive) resorts, and is close by a few supermarkets and Coligny Plaza - so the location can't be beat. The villa is very cozy and could fit up to four comfortably. The living area has a comfy sofa, an armchair and a small dining table. The kitchen has just about everything you need, including utensils, pots and pans, a dishwasher, and more. Everything you need is provided to you -- from beach towels and chairs, to coffee makers (a drip and a Keurig!), to kitchen towels and detergent, to extra pillows, sheets, and even an air mattress. There are laundry rooms very conveniently located on each floor and a couple of laundry pods are included with the room. The washer and dryer are only $1.00 each and take quarters. When I arrived, the place was immaculately clean. There were no bugs of any sort. And everything was well organized, including very helpful information about the villas and surrounding areas on the desk in the hallway. The balcony looks over one of the neighboring resort's pools with a nice view towards the beach on the right. The balcony is also where you'll find the provided beach chairs and wagon. Oh, and the air conditioning works great! This place is a 10/10 and I highly recommend it! Plus, the management company that handles this room is very VERY responsive.

Girls Trip!!

Me and some girl friends wanted a beach vacation that was easy and fun, and this property was exactly what we needed and wanted! a quick walk to the beach and a nice pool when we wanted to be off the beach! the amenities were cute and unique which we loved!! My one and only critique is the "sofa bed" was not the type of sofa bed I imagined and what I think of for a sofa bed. It's the tops of the couch and you sleep long way on the couch instead of like a bed, the friend who slept in it said using extra pillows helped with comfort, but we brought an air mattress and that worked out a little better. Otherwise it was GREAT! beach chairs and buggy provided which came in handy and all the kitchen things you would need for a quick trip!! we would absolutely stay here again!! <3

The living room furniture is basic at best and uncomfortable to sit on. The "pull out sofa" is not something anyone should sleep on. We actually bought air mattresses.

Not as expected

Arrived at property fine but once we entered the room it was all downhill. First thing we noticed was that the unit looked nothing like the pictures. The space was dirty, in need of repairs/updates and smelled musty. After 4 days of dealing with the smell we discovered it was coming from the A/C unit. We took off the cover and it was full of mold and dirt we then removed the bed skirt to find mold all down the side of the mattress. We contacted management which said they couldn’t get to it till the following day. So I went to the store and bought bleach cleaner to do it myself. Management showed up the next day, had a crew come change the sheets basically and offered no explanation for why the unit wasn’t cleaned before our stay, reimbursement of any kind or even a simple apology. Needless to say we will not be staying here again.

Quaint & Quiet

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet & friendly guest/residents. I will say looking at the pictures I assumed the 2 pools on the side of the condo were included instead of only having the one pool in the back of the condo. Condo does seem smaller than the pics & if you have tall kids they would not be comfortable on the bunk beds. It would be nice if there was a sleeper sofa. Other than that it was enjoyable & the management were pleasant. Very close to shops & restaurants which is great. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway for 2, than this is the perfect spot.

Great location nice but very small

We loved the location and the price. It’s smaller than it looks in the pictures. The bunk beds are toddler size. We used the air mattress for our two teenage girls but it took up the entire living room. The bathroom is very small. It would have helped if there was more storage, counter space, or shelving. Bring your own pillow. The pillows provided are very flat. I don’t normally complain Just wanted to help the next guest.

A good size for our family

Considering the size it was great for my family. The bunks were narrow but my children loved them. It would have been nice if there were some bins under for storage, but we managed. The overall place was clean and had some beach chairs, a wagon and games to accompany our stay. We would stay there again. The pool was heated which was a huge bonus and loved the location to the beach and pool. Lots of fun in the sun! The resort beside was an added bonus as there was a small restaurant that we could go to for poolside drinks and snacks.

ONE Bedroom / Sleeps FOUR

This rental sleeps FOUR max and is a ONE bedroom. IF two of the four are children under 12. There is a queen bed in the only bedroom that leaves just enough room around it to shuffle in and out. There are two tiny cot-like bunk beds in the hall. If your children are big enough to ride most rides at an amusement park or are the slightest bit claustrophobic they will NOT sleep. I thought it sleeps six? Read the description carefully. There is a defunct air mattress on the floor under the cot beds. Feel free to drag it out, dust it off, blow it up, move around the furniture and let your family members lay on the floor all night. Ironically the description says Just to undo it all each morning. Since the cots and blow up bouncy bed are afterthoughts, everyone’s phone charging cords become a formidable obstacle course you must navigate to get to the single bathroom. My personal best was only one yanked smartphone! There is a consistent mildew smell that is understandable as this rental was designed for a retired couple with occasional grand kids spending the night. Not turning 4-6 people in and out weekly. The only closet in the entire rental holds miscellaneous debris. Generally clean. Kitchen is fine. Nice beach access. Hilton next door gives you solid motivation to do better next time!

The condo was very nice. The location is great for the beach and all other activities in the area.

I would return to Ocean Dunes. The condo was well managed. Having access to the Hilton’s amenities next door was very nice. Perfect location for everything we wanted to do.

Great location and place to stay

Wonderful visit to Hilton Head Island and loved the location, proximity to shops, the beach and area attractions. The unit is as described and was great for our family. The balcony was great for relaxing. The pool was smaller than other properties near us but it was great for lounging in the sun. The property itself is older than neighboring properties but for the price and location, it is tough to beat.
