It’s not worth the money

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The villa had a musty damp smell that could not be covered. The floors were dirty, the bathrooms were not cleaned; there was hair everywhere. There were cobwebs in every corner and window and there was probably 2 inches of dust on the air return. So the first night we spent cleaning the place. In the middle of the week we called maintenance for a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Overall Hilton head island is a nice place to visit but we would not stay or recommend anyone to stay in this villa. Palmetto Dunes is a nice resort.

However, it smelled VERY strongly of mold which created our guests to get headaches and have difficulty sleeping.A little too far to walk to the beach but the Dunes buggy transport service worked great! If you don't have issues with musty/mold smells I would highly recommend

Reviewer Comments: We spent 3 months in this unit and were very satisfied with the unit. we rented through Palmetto Dunes and they were excellent, came several times for minor issues and were very prompt and professional. The unit is well suited for short stays but we found the lack of a pantry a little awkward for a 3 month visit. Overall a great unit.

Enjoyed our Villa and Hilton Head Resort in general

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice open floor plan that included kitchen, dining area and living room. Liked the separate bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms that were away from the main living areas. Loved the artwork and the fresh air on the screened in porch. This villa was very close to the tennis center and my husband enjoys tennis and being short walking distance to the center. Please let the owners know that we loved the art work with the black dog on it. It looked exactly like my daughter's dog who loves water and especially the ocean. Her 14 year old dog was diagnosed with very severe cancer and she had to have one of her legs amputated. I told her about the picture and she agreed it was so amazing. She searched online and found where she could order one. She now has it on her wall at home. She was not there with us so it was comforting to see that painting while we were there. We would rent it again.

My husband and I and my sister and brother-in-law come to Hilton Head every year around the beginning of March. If you don't mind not being on the beach it's a great place to stay. It was quiet while we were there. I would give it 5 stars except I think the condo could use a good deep cleaning. My husband is big on clean furnace filters which he checked and they were in need of change. Other than that the place had everything we needed for our stay and the price was good.

fun family golf trip

great condo, worked well for our 2 adult family to stay. the 2 queen beds in each room, alittle odd but would be okay for family or group dont mind sleeping in same room. not a problem for us though. played Fazio course. was not in good shape, teeboxes needed work an greens were not that good either, especially for the high green fee.

Great Affordable option for Family

We enjoyed our stayed in the unit. The size and space was perfect. The unit smelled a little stale/old, but overall it was updated well. The biggest complaint would be with the AC. It wasn't able to keep up and we went to bed each night very warm. The bedrooms (mostly the one close to the front door) didn't cool very well and we had a hard time keeping it under 73 degrees in the unit.
