Next to picturesque Shelter Cove Harbour on Hilton Head Island, you will find Marriott's Harbour Point and Marriott's Sunset Pointe Resort, quite possibly one of the most underrated locations on HHI.

Enjoy outstanding direct waterfront views of Broad Creek from your private balcony in the morning and amazing sunsets in the evening. Watch the boats entering and leaving Shelter Cove marina along with the opportunity to see local wildlife including dolphins and many varieties of birds.

THE SPACE

This resort is centrally located on HHI and convenient to everything that Hilton Head Island offers. From the property you are just a few minutes walk to Shelter Cove Marina, where you can find waterfront dining, shopping at the boutiques, or enjoying one of the events or festivals. Also, surrounding the Marina area, you will find many other restaurants, shops, boutiques, including major grocery stores at the Shelter Cove Towne Centre.

This spacious apartment style 2BR/2BA provides a great home base for your vacation on HHI.

At the end of each day, gather the family together to enjoy your favorite movie or whip up a quick snack in your fully equipped Kitchen, which includes Stove, Oven, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Blender, Dishwasher, and full sized Refrigerator. The Dining Area has a Table with seating for up to six (6) persons, along with breakfast bar with stools.

The Living Room area has one outer wall consisting almost entirely of floor to ceiling windows that floods the unit with natural light, along with access to a large outdoor balcony with direct waterfront views of serene and scenic Broad Creek. Enjoy the spectacular views while drinking your coffee in the morning or enjoying a beverage of choice in the evening.

The Master bedroom has a King size bed and connected Bathroom has a beautiful walk-in Shower, in addition to a Tub and a large double sink vanity. The second bedroom has 2 Twin beds, along with a connected Bathroom which is also accessible from the main living space.

There is a Washer / Dryer included in the unit for your private use.

From this location you can challenge your skills on some of the country's best golf courses and tennis courts. Specific resort amenities include Tennis courts, two outdoor Pools, Hot Tub, and a 2,400-square-foot Sundeck. Enjoy evenings by the Fire Pit or prepare dinner on one of the BBQ grills.

Just relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area from your balcony or the heated pool. For those who want to be active you can hit the many miles of paved bike trails found on HHI, play tennis on three Har-Tru (clay) lighted tennis courts, golf, or rent kayaks, paddle boards, or jet skis right next door at the Shelter Cove Marina. You can also schedule / charter boat tours at the Marina.

For Beach access you can drive or take the free shuttle to the Palmetto Dunes beach and Palmetto Dunes Beach Club which is only minutes away (1.8 miles).

Harbor Town Lighthouse is a 20-minute drive from the from the Sunset Pointe and Harbor Point Marriott. Adventure Golf-Pirate's Island is a 5-minute drive away, along with many other mini-golf courses.

UNITS / PHOTOS

Please note that this listing includes multiple weeks available. The photos reflect the interiors of several different units you might be assigned, depending on which specific week you book. However, these units all have the same basic floorplan, and you are guaranteed a 2BR/2BA (sleeps 6) with the decor and general layout accurately reflected in the photos. You are also guaranteed a unit with an excellent Waterfront View on a higher floor. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

GUEST ACCESS

This is a Resort property, so your unit will be private, but Amenities (Pools, Hot Tub, Gym, Grills, Gazebo / Sundeck, etc) will be shared with other Guests.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.

- Marriott's Harbour Point and Sunset Pointe @ Shelter Cove is professionally managed and operated by Marriott Vacation Club. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.

- Two FREE parking passes are included with this unit. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee.

- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.

- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.

- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can rent the equipment on HHI.

- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However there is a Washer / Dryer conveniently located inside your unit for your personal use. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.

- Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all provided. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed.

- Utensils, Dishes, and some basic Pots and Pans are provided. If something appears to be missing, you can contact the Front Desk and possibly get it dropped off (if they have it). However, if you plan on cooking a lot of meals inside your unit, or plan any special dishes, I do recommend bringing your favorite Large Frying pan (or Large Sauté Pan, Wok, Crockpot, etc, etc) for cooking. This way you will have something you are comfortable using and you will know exactly how things will cook in it. You may also want to bring your favorite Kitchen knife(s) for food prep.

- If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Don't forget to bring your bike locks. If you don't want to bring your own bikes, you can also easily rent bikes on property.

- You will see wildlife native to South Carolina, including occasional glimpses of alligators that may be lounging in the lagoon areas. So please DO NOT attempt to swim in any of the ponds or lagoons on HHI.
