Lake Forest 3303 - Sea Pines One Level Condo

Lake Forest 3303 is nestled back adjacent to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. It is a quiet community in a convenient location with tennis courts and pool facilities on site. It has a wonderful back deck overlooking a large lagoon that leads into the preserve. Lawton Stables is a short walk, and Harbour Town is a quick bike ride, or use the Sea Pines Trolley to access the beach club, Sea Pines Center and South Beach Marina.
Unit 3303 has a king size bed in the master and two twin beds in the guest room. Living room has a pull out sleeper sofa.

The unit needs some renovations. The second step leading into the unit is sinking. Also the entryway has sinking boards. The worst part is the entry area leading into the master bath. That area is sinking so bad that it feels like you are going to crash through. There are some serious upgrades needed. Very outdated.

Overall the place worked for our short stay. Pictures are accurate. Loved the separation of the two bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was good and complex was quiet. My only disappointment was that the place needs a serious spring cleaning. Everything appears clean but things like the baseboards, blinds and even the shower glass need attention. Even the inside of the dishwasher was filled with leftover dishwasher soap. Not sure if it works properly. With some spring cleaning, the place could go from good to great!

We were very happy with our Villa. It had a great layout and tastefully decorated. It was in a beautiful setting in the woods by the lagoon. Even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the location, but some might think it is a little far from the beach and Harbourtown. We rode our bikes most of the time and loved that.

Nice Sea Pines Property

Some of the best things about the property are that it’s clean, has a nice deck, grill, no one above or below you, split bedroom layout, minimal property traffic and an easy walk to the pool. The only issue we experienced is that the trash bin outside was completely full from the previous renters and doesn’t get emptied until Tuesday. Raccoons pull the trash out nightly. Of no reflection on the owner’s, we decided Sea Pines isn’t for us. We have small children and accessing the beach was a hassle. We had a wagon, cooler, chairs, shade. You have to pack all that up to drive to the trolley station. Wait for a trolley, load it on, unload it at the beach lot and the same for the return. The trolley runs every 30 minutes. A thunderstorm came and you can’t easily leave due to this set-up. No beach gear is included, so factor in the cost of buying or renting. As for the condo itself, it was a pleasant stay. We just plan to stay on another part of the island next year with easier beach access.

This condo was perfect for my little family. There was everything you’d need in the kitchen.

We had a really good experience with everything from booking to checking in to checking out. Everything went super smooth and we’ll definitely be back again! The convenience to harbor town and salty dog as well as the pool and beach was amazing! We were sad when the week was over to head back home.

2nd year for renting this beautiful property. The Sea Shore Vacation group makes checking in and out very easy! The unit is up to date with a gorgeous kitchen, nice, spacious patio with gas grill. I highly recommend!

Very pleasant and laid back

Great neighborhood with plenty of shops nearby. Plus, the sea pines resort has its own beach club for easy access to the beach about a 5 minute drive away. Pictures accurately portray the property. Please be aware there are no beach accessories or chairs. Also, please note that there is a lake behind the property. While, this is a gorgeous view for morning coffee and mimosas, it does attract insects. You will find a few inside, but you should expect that if you stay by any body of water. By no means infested, but my guests requested I mention this.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Have stayed in Lake Forest for years. Previous rental sold, and was no longer available. We were more than pleased with our new accommodations as well as dealing with a new management company. The property is clean, as pictured, and from beginning to end was a seamless process. We will be back!!!

Great vacation spot

Property was as advertised, clean, very well maintained, and well equipped. Kitchen had everything you could need and more. Felt much larger than expected. Owner supplied little things like a binder with local attractions and directions from villa to bike paths. Easy bike ride to grocery store and several restaurants. A bit longer but manageable ride to beach club and Harbourtown. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this property!
