Spa was full of leaves most of the time, disappointed we did not get to use it more after paying a premium! Was not aware of the VRBO additional charge until too late to cancel/change to a different property. Felt that it was not well advertised that there was a charge for using VRBO. All in all, the house was beautiful and just the right size for our group. It was well appointed for an elevated homey feel. Other than the two extra charges it was a good value. I will look closer at the listings in the future.

Family Fun

Our family of 9 (grandparents, parents, grandkids) really enjoyed our stay here as each family unit had their own bedroom/bathroom combo. The pool and property amenities were quite nice. We accessed the beach easily via bicycles and had a really fun stay.

Clean, comfortable and spacious

This was our second stay in this home, and we'd be happy to come back. It provided plenty of room for the 9 of us, and is very well appointed. We enjoyed the pool, the golf course views and convenient location. We'll be back!!

Enjoyed our trip

Nice property and location. The main refrigerator was broken which was inconvenient (no ice all week) but another fridge was in the downstairs area for food storage. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for a Holiday Gathering!

Our family rented this beautiful home for the week of Thanksgiving. From the moment we first inquired about the property to the last day of our stay- we were more than impressed! It is very luxurious. The kitchen is well stocked, the pool and hot tub are private, the bedrooms are very nice with great beds, the living room is big enough for a large family gathering and the bike ride to the general store / beach is so much fun! You will love staying here!

Amazing home and neighborhood

Perfect vacation home for couples or families. Each bedroom affords your own private space. Everything updated, clean, and beautifully decorated. This is a very spacious home. Palmetto Dunes is the most beautiful and fun neighborhood on the island. Our group of nine, would most definitely rebook and recommend!

Excellent property

Extremely well furnished and most comfortable house. The kitchen, in particular, was better equipped than any other VRBO property we've ever rented. The location was quite convenient and very quiet. No fault of the owner or VRBO, but we don't enjoy being paired with strangers when playing golf, which is standard practice at the better Hilton Head courses, so doubt we'll return.

Great stay!

We loved our stay at 3 Starboard Tack! The house had everything we needed. We have never stayed in a rental property with such a well-stocked kitchen. The ping pong table provided hours of fun. I highly recommend renting bikes with a cart to get the beach. It’s a very quick bike ride and you can bring your bikes on to the beach with you. Plantation Dunes is a very nice community and if we go back to Hilton Head, we would rent this property again.

Thank you to the home owner and property management team. All was wonderful, clean, and grand. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. We treated this beautiful home as if it was our own and took great care while we stayed. Peaceful and quiet. Our new Marine enjoyed his first night in three months here and appreciated this opportunity to stay and visit Hilton Head. Thank you.

Unbelievable property

The house was more than perfect. It had anything and everything one would need; excellently stocked. I want to know what kind of mattress I slept on. It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I hated coming home to my own bed. Everything was so luxurious. All five of us had a wonderful time in this house. We will definitely stay again.
