Plan your next escapade to Hilton Head Island and book this marvelous and recently renovated villa! Equipped with great amenities to make your stay a breezy one and offering access to a shared outdoor pool and tennis court, fun and relaxation are assured. The first floor offers a pristine and ocean-themed open floor plan. The living area is inviting with its comfortable sectional sofa strategically placed in front of a large, wall-mounted TV with streaming services. From here, you'll have direct access to one of the greatest perks of this retreat: a covered and furnished patio. This private space offers outdoor furniture (a sofa, two armchairs, and a convenient coffee table) providing the perfect and secluded nook to enjoy the outdoors while still being at home.

Back inside, the dining table is gorgeous and seats up to 6 guests. However, if you'd like a more informal place to enjoy your meals, there's another dining table across the kitchen, but this one seats fewer people. Speaking of the kitchen, it comes fully equipped with great appliances, cookware, and utensils that will make cooking a breeze. This level also has a convenient half bathroom under the stairs.

The bedrooms are located all the way up on the second floor, along with two full bathrooms (both are ensuite). The main bedroom also features a wall-mounted TV with streaming services, a small desk, slight golf course views, and a small powder room. The guest bedroom has a TV as well.

You'll find nothing but top attractions nearby. The Shipyard Golf Club is within walking distance from your doorstep, the beach is just two miles away, and there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. Head to Van der Meer Tennis Club (half a mile) to play a round in one of the 13 clay courts, four outdoor hard courts, or three indoor courts.

Great dog friendly condo

We have been to HHI many times, this was our first time in Shipyard and with Vacasa
we were pleasantly impressed with both! The after hours check in was easy as Vacasa is x2 right next to Shipyard, and the unit was clean upon arrival. The following morning, I contacted Vacasa regarding a few issues of things in the unit, they got right back to me to take care of them. I was pleasantly surprised at their promptness with communication as I have had issues with other property management in the past. The rooms were comfy and spacious, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need, the patio is quiet and relaxing even though the golf coarse is visible. There was an outdoor grill we didn’t use, there were 4 covered bikes (2 with baskets) that were in good condition and even better an air pump in the closet! Parking was very close to the unit, the washer and dryer worked well, the TV’s in the rooms were nice and large with plenty of streaming services on them, and lastly the beds were pretty comfortable! Shipyard is a beautiful, smaller community that is actually close to it all, easy access in and out and lastly their private beach area was fantastic
our pooch loved it all too, we would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

My wife and I brought the dog for a 5 day stay, and we really loved the condo. It was well equipped, including extra beach chairs and bikes. The master bed was comfy and the shower had good water pressure. There are some refinements that need attention (drywall patching in 2nd bath, patio door paint peeling), but I feel like these are factored into the price. Evian is so quiet and serene. We just love staying there. Our only real knock is the WiFi speed. There’s a very nice large hi-def flat screen, but it’s frequently buffering. I ran a test, and the speed runs 50 mbps which is way too slow if you’re using multiple phones, laptop, and want to watch tv. Otherwise it was great and we’d stay again.

Will never stay at this unit again

Where to begin. I have a small poodle that doesn’t shed. There was dog hair through out the home, all over the couch, and even the decorations. The smell was very musty. And it was very damp inside the unit. We tried to stay out and about all day so we wouldn’t have to be in there. It was not clean at all. The entire place needs to be redone. I will never rent this unit again. By far the worst experience.

Another Vacasa Fail!

I did not realize this was a property managed by Vacasa until after booking or I would have reconsidered given in 30 years of coming to HHI, our only negative stays have been at Vacasa properties. This condo was well appointed and updated. However, when sitting on the couch and the sections slid apart, we noticed that the floor underneath had not likely been cleaned for a while-dust, dirt, hair band, small toys and food. The porch which was lovely had also not been cleaned and all it would have required was a quick sweep to remove spider webs, leaves, and dog hair. Unfortunately there was no working vacuum (it turned on but did not actually pull anything up off the floor) or full size broom. Finally, the smashed mosquito bodies on the walls, windows and ceiling of the entry gave us a clue something was not quite right. The evening of our arrival we discovered that from dusk until dawn the entry was a swarm of mosquitos and opening the front door invited them into the condo. Also note that this condo is a 20-25 minute walk to the beach. Given all of this which far outweighed the good of the condo, call us completely done with Vacasa properties.
