47 Off Shore Dr is an incredible opportunity for a relaxing getaway! This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home is located in Palmetto Dunes and offers a perfect blend of privacy and convenience. Being nestled in a quiet area yet still close to Shelter Cove Towne Center & Harbour for various activities such as dining, shopping, and boating provides a great balance of relaxation and entertainment. The beautiful and expansive beach is accessible by easy walking or biking (just 1 mile away) or guest can use the seasonal beach shuttle (The Dunes Buggy). The home's layout with an open concept, updated features, and ample natural light creates a welcoming atmosphere. The separation of bedrooms ensures privacy for guests or family members. The highlight of this property is definitely the private backyard oasis, complete with a pool, soaking tub, fire pit, oversized deck, and lagoon. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in peace and tranquility. Overall, 47 Offshore Drive is an ideal vacation destination for those seeking both relaxation and adventure on Hilton Head Island.

Your pass includes one free round of golf daily at partner courses like the Heritage Collection and the Brown Group. Note: This is per day, not per person. You also receive one free round of miniature golf each day at Adventure Cove and one complimentary bike from Island Cruisers to start your stay.

DOG FRIENDLY: Pet fees are not included in your VRBO total and will be added by Vacation Homes of Hilton Head after your online reservation has been made. Our company has a two (2) dog maximum and a weight restriction of 50 pounds maximum. No cats or other animals allowed. Inquire with our reservations staff about a 3rd pet for an additional fee.

Pool: 28' x 14' * This property offers free pool heat in the shoulder season (Sept -Oct and April - May) to roughly 86 -88 degrees. Pool heat not available November - March as the pool heater does not work when the air temperature is below (roughly) 60 degrees. NOTE: the spa does not have jets and only heats to the temperature of the pool.

Car Passes: Palmetto Dunes Car Passes must be ordered at time of booking (leave notes in the comments section) and can be picked up at our office on day of arrival. If you do not add passes at the time of booking, our Guest Ambassador with reach out to coordinate.

Seasonal Beach Shuttle: Palmetto Dunes Buggy is a FREE on demand and door to door shuttle to the beach and Shelter Cove Marina, Shops, and Restaurants. This Shuttle runs from April through September.

Beauty at the Beach

We loved our stay deep in the nature of Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island. With a quick 6-minute bike ride to the beach or lounging in the backyard by the pool, our stay was well-equipped for sun and sand or a rainy day inside watching movies. HHI never disappoints!

Fall retreat!

This is a wonderful property in one of the most beautiful communities in Hilton Head! The property is far enough away from the beach, so you do not have traffic or noise concerns, but close enough for a nice walk or bike ride! The home is well appointed and well kept with everything you will need for a stay. This was our second time staying at this property and it will not be our last!

47 Off Shore Dr did not disappoint. The home had most everything we needed. It has an open floor plan and a nice table for dinners. Bring your beach towels to sit out on the pool deck, and enjoy a private space by the heated pool. We had zero issues with the house, and will definitely plan another trip to Hilton Head.

Spring Break

My family stayed at 47 Offshore over Easter break and absolutely loved the home and our overall stay. The property management team at Vacation Homes of HH were quick to respond to a lost item and to answer any questions in general. The checkin process was easy and the home was exactly as listed and even went beyond our expectations. The home is lovely, spacious and clean, but what we enjoyed the most was the private and well-equipped backyard. A pool and beautiful patio furniture, along with fun amenities such as a ping pong table in the garage, made our stay even better. We would love to come back and highly recommend this home and renting from Vacation Homes.

Great Time with Family

This property was perfect for our family gathering. The layout worked perfect - master for couple with dog and 5 month old baby, parents took bedroom off pool on other side of house and son working from the VRBO took the room toward the front of the house with the standing desk which was perfect for him. The common areas were comfortable with plenty of room. The pool had a great blend of sun and shade. We enjoyed the grill for cooking and spent most evenings around the patio table after the baby went to bed for the night. GREAT STAY!!!

Great home, great location, but....

This is a great quality house that is well appointed, equipped, and furnished. However the great patio and deck area, and pool were filthy. Windows hadn't been washed in ages. I cleaned the windows myself. So, outside cleaning and maintenance are non-existent. We were there for 3 weeks and the pool and outside area were never cleaned except when we had to get VRBO involved in forcing a pool cleaning.

Very clean and comfy!

Property was very clean, quiet, and sofas and beds are comfortable. The back yard is mostly shady (more than the photo) so if you have sunbathers in your group, they won't have much sun around the pool! The neighborhood is shady and absolutely gorgeous for for walking, running, or biking. Location is excellent - golf, restaurants, Starbucks, groceries, and a few shops are a very short drive away. If you want to save a couple of dollars when you get there, bring along a sponge to help with dishes, coffee filters, and a few extra laundry and dishwasher pods if you want to do more than one load during the week. This rental was a great stay for our party of four adults, and even with these small suggestions, we would highly recommend.

An Island Treat

We thoroughly enjoyed this house and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone searching on VRBO. The outdoor space is absolutely wonderful and private, with plenty of room to spread out around the pool or at night around the fire pit. The VRBO listing indicated 3 BR/3 bathrooms which threw us a little since there are only 2.5 bathrooms, but we made it work. I noticed the listing by Vacation Homes of Hilton Head now states the correct number of bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked exceptionally well. The only suggestion I could make is possibly some more lamps in the living area. The property was also conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants. We had an absolute blast and made ourselves at home right away!!

The kitchen has everything you need, and a joy to cook in. The master bedroom and bathroom was big, clean and comfortable. The shower was great. The family room, with floor to ceiling windows, was very comfortable for a family of 4. It was a lovely 15 minute walk to the beach. The community also offers free transportation to Shelter cove and also, all around the Palmetto Dunes community and beaches- which we also loved. I want to thank the owners for providing a great place to stay.

The house itself was gorgeous, inside and out and spotless; also had a great layout. It was exactly as described & pictured; in a quiet neighborhood but near enough to shopping (as in groceries) and restaurants. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Alexander’s Wine Bar one evening. (Btw, 47 Off Shore has a wine cooler!) As we were vacationing with my son, dtr in law & 1 year old baby we ate at home every other night. The main suite was beyond my expectations (that closet was to die for). Kitchen appliances were new(er) and the kitchen was well stocked with serving ware & cook ware. Pool was phenomenal and the yard was beautifully landscaped. The pool may look “too shady” in pictures but believe me, it was fine! At various times throughout the day the sun was shining in different parts of the pool enabling us to choose between sun & shade. Very cool to see deer and Spanish moss on the trees right in our backyard. Overall, I can’t say enough about this property & highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet but well situated vacation rental in Palmetto Dunes!!!

Where do I start? Before arriving we had issues locating the check in information. I was checking VRBO continuously for updates. Come to find out, this management company sent me an email that went to my junk folder with a link to download an app that held all important info. Not convenient in my opinion! We arrived on a Saturday evening and noticed the pool had not been cleaned in what looked like weeks. It was so full of leaves and debris that the pump wasn’t even running. The water was a green/yellow color and there was no way we would be swimming in it until it was cleaned. I immediately sent pictures to the rental company and got a quick response that they would “contact their team”. Long story short, the pool wasn’t cleaned until Monday at 4pm. The pool was so dirty it needed to be shocked, which meant we could not swim in it until Tuesday (3 days into our stay). My 5 year old daughter was super bummed. We were also promised it would get cleaned again Wednesday, that didn’t happen until I reached out again Thursday afternoon. The house was nothing spectacular. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets that we had to clean before eating off of. The house could definitely use some TLC. The beds are uncomfortable and the sheets feel like sandpaper. We lost water for 4 hours on Thursday due to a neighborhood upgrade? We never received our $1,000.00 credit towards bikes. Overall, we had a pretty rough stay and will never book with this company or at this property again.
