Perfect location w/a great view

This was mine and my family’s first time to Hilton Head and we flew and chose not to get a rental car so when looking for a place to stay I wanted to make sure it was within walking distance of restaurants/things to do. This condo was smack dab in the perfect spot. Right on the beach, but also across the street from Coligny Plaza. The condo itself is small, but worked great for our family. We flew so we didn’t have many items. The boys slept great on the bunk beds and the primary’s bed was super comfortable! We were greeted with nice little gifts from host to host that put a smile on our face after a long travel day. The only negative I could give was that the shower’s water didn’t stay hot for long. I don’t take long showers and by the time I was washing out my conditioner the hot water was already gone. Other than that, it was a near perfect stay! I would recommend to anyone. Also if you do stay please eat at Cafe Al Dente. By far our favorite restaurant we ate at!!

Beach Stay

We had an eventful stay while we were there. The A/C went out after check in. The staff was able to come out and fix it very quickly. The vent in the bathroom leaked cold drops on us while we were using it and finally, the chairs that they supplied were ripped and torn. The view was amazing and so was the proximity to the beach.

Condo was clean and location good. Mgmt company was very responsive in fixing internet and broken patio furniture. The condo needs some TLC - sofa and bed were old and uncomfortable. Pillows were cheap and uncomfortable.

Great location on the beach

We just stayed for a week and had a great stay!King size bed was comfyThere were also bunk beds that we didn’t use but would be good for smaller kidsHad extra sheets, plenty of bathroom towels plus beach towelsHost provided: soap for shower, hand soap, dish soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, towels, beach chairs, some pots and pans, baking dishes, cooking utensils, Tupperware, a few rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a welcome bag and more. Unit did have a washer and dryer.Property has a nice sized pool plus kiddie pool, and has direct access to the beach. We didn’t have any issues parking. Close walk to bars and restaurants. Would stay again!

I have been going to Hilton Head since I was a child and have stayed all over the island. This was my first time staying outside of Sea Pines gate. I wanted to be walkable to Coligny restaurants and shops as well as be beachfront so the Breakers seemed perfect. First know the security there is a joke. There is only someone actually working 2-3 hours a day- many days I never saw anyone. This meant the general public using our parking to access the beach. Evidently people just share the beach gate code with everyone and they never change it. While I was there several local law enforcement officers and their WHOLE families were there to use the pool and beach access and simply packed up their cars and left at the end of the day. Once I was at the beach gate and several locals called the guard and asked to be buzzed in to go

Location, location, location!

We booked this property specifically to be next to Coligny beach/plaza. It was perfect! Only had to drive to go to a few dinners we had planned. Walk to the beach was short. Apartment was clean, in unit laundry was very useful, and the view from the balcony was awesome any time of day. We will definitely stay here again on our next HHI trip.

Awesome location

This unit was in a great location not only in proximity to the beach but also within the complex. Check in and departure were seamless. I messaged the property mgr regarding the fact that we were missing a beach towel and they delivered one promptly. Cons of this unit: no closet, limited towel rack, only two drawers available for clothes. It was a tight squeeze for our family of four (two young teens). Also, the beds were not great and the dryer seemed to be on its last leg. All in all we would definitely rent from host2coast again, and I do recommend this property!

An enjoyable stay on the ocean

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! With an amazing balcony view of the ocean and just steps to the beach, we could hardly ask for more! The property was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen area provided the basic essentials, which was more than enough to get us by (especially considering that we enjoyed many meals at the local food joints as well) My only "complaint", is that despite the elevator being advertised as working for 2022, it was out of order for the duration of our stay. We certainly got alot of exercise going up and down those stairs! All in all, it was a truly excellent stay, and it will absolutely not be our last visit! Thank you for a wonderful and memorable week!

Not the greatest

I didn’t expect to have to clean on my vacation. But after five minutes of my 11 month old crawling around he had black feet and knees so I definitely had to go to Piggly Wiggly and grab a Swiffer and some disinfecting wipes. The floor was filthy, dishes in the dishwasher were not clean, the bathroom was a nightmare (possible mold on the ceiling around the vent), and there were food crumbs and water bottles on the balcony when we arrived. The washer and dryer malfunctioned (serviceman came the day we checked out and confirmed the dryer needed replaced). Elevator is being rebuilt so trekking up to the third floor isn’t easy. Plus they don’t give you any extra trash bags, just 1 for the week. Not a deal breaker, but combined with everything else, it was a less than desirable vacation spot and we will not be returning to this particular unit. Proximity to the beach was about all it had going for it. Would not recommend.

Crumbs/ Dirty- Not my kind of place

When we got to our room, the first thing we did was go sit down on the couch. We noticed crumbs all on the floor. It was okay that the condo was outdated but not being clean is not ok. We went to pull out the sofa bed (couch) and there were crumbs all over the mattress pad. Ended up removing the mattress pad because it was gross. We would have just slept together in the master bed (it stated new memory foam mattress) the mattress was as hard as a board. I've never felt a mattress that hard. Anyway the bathroom had hair on the wall (not ours) and the trim was nasty. Place needs a good thorough cleaning and some paint. I would not stay there again. My daughter cleans condos in Hilton Head, and she checked reviews for rental property that manages here and they were all bad as far as cleanliness. I suggest a new cleaning crew.
