Hilo Hibiscus Vacation Home 3 bedrooms

Consider this house your home away from home while you visit Hilo. This fabulous property boasts 3 bedrooms, each with its own unique charm.

Start your vacation at this centrally located home, surrounded by shopping centers, restaurants, parks, and beaches! If you are visiting Hilo for business, this space is ideal as well, with plenty of table space for working and high-speed internet through Spectrum (200mbps). Our beautiful floors, modern kitchen, and walk-in shower give the space a luxury feel. In addition to the 3 beds available in 3 bedrooms. there is one futon sofa in bedroom and sectional sofa in the living room to accommodate extra guests; please note there are no extra beds. Air mattresses are available upon request.

Private parking is on-site at the entrance of the apartment. Please let us know if you will need space for more than 2 vehicles. Laundry room is located in the garage. Quiet hours between 9pm and 7am.

Average weather in Hilo is 84F/64F. Most the Hilo residents do not install air conditioning in the house.

Highly recommend the Hilo Hibiscus Vacation Home for your next stay in Hilo. Easy check in and communication with host, clean, spacious property, and conveniently located near the market and shopping centers. There is a flight of stairs that brings you up to the main living area on the second floor. This property is a relaxing oasis for a family.

The location was excellent and the open kitchen/dining/living room layout was lovely. The set up is great or family gathering. The marble countertops in the kitchen and bathroom were beautiful. But there were a number of very basic items missing. There was no coffee, tea or any condiments. There were no hot pads, spatula, or tea kettle - some basics needed for cooking. I have appreciated houses with a sweet guest welcome basket with fresh fruit, flowers and snacks. This did not have that AND not even the basics. There was only 1 beach towel and no drying rack or line to hang damp clothes. The green couch in the 2nd bedroom was horribly stained and the bed in that room was very uncomfortable. It was hard on the edges and then sunk in the middle. Both bedside lights in the third room were broken. In the primary bedroom there was only 1 hook for a towel, should add a drying rack or another hook.

Great Location and Comfortable Rental

Had a wonderful stay at this location, very roomy and bright. Rooms were clean and comfortable with lots of windows that made the place feel very open. I was a little concerned with only one A/C unit in the main room, but we actually didn't use it at all during our stay. The location is great and everything we wanted do was a short drive away. One word of caution for anyone with mobility issues, the unit is located up an internal flight of stairs. This wasn't a issue for us but might be good to know for others.

Christmas with Family in Hawaii

The hosts were fantastic and always responded timely to all questions. They asked numerous times if we needed anything. A couple minor issues with a couple lights and their maintenance person came to fix within a day.We prepare most of our meals while at a VRBO. The kitchen was very limited on baking dishes, saucepans, glasses, cooking utensils. As with most VRBO’s, the knives were not sharp.We didn’t realize the VRBO was located by on a very busy street and intersection. A lot of traffic noise all day and most of the night. We opened the windows at night to cool the home so it was noisy.Grocery stores, a mall, a fresh garden produce stand are all within a quarter of a mile. The other unit neighbors were all very quiet and pleasant. The dryer and washer worked great.We had a pleasant stay and are thankful for our wonderful hosts!
