Sur 14 beaux hectares boisés avec trois cascades vues depuis un porche couvert et ouvert, CUISINE ET BAINS JUSTE MIS A JOUR MAI 2017!
Highlands / Cashiers propose des galeries d'art, des boutiques, de la musique de chambre, du théùtre d'été, des montagnes à gravir, des terrains de golf, du tennis, des sentiers de randonnée, des lacs de baignade, des super sites à photographier et à peindre ainsi que de bons endroits pour dßner.
La cabine a deux salles de bain complĂštes, quatre lits simples et deux lits queen dans quatre chambres (deux au rez-de-chaussĂ©e) et un balcon donnant sur le salon et une grande cheminĂ©e en pierre (utilise de vraies bĂ»ches). Tout en bois naturel et plusieurs fenĂȘtres, cuisine JUSTE MISE À JOUR: granit et tuile, lave-vaisselle, nouvelle cuisiniĂšre, nouveau rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, micro-ondes encastrĂ©. ET la chambre principale a une laveuse / sĂ©cheuse! LES DEUX SALLES DE BAINS ENTIÈREMENT MISES À JOUR avec des comptoirs de carreaux et de granit. Des radiateurs sont installĂ©s dans chaque piĂšce.
Il y a un porche couvert et un patio avec un foyer extérieur. Pas de télévision mais il y a un lecteur DVD et le service cellulaire est super.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette cabane, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Nantahala National Forest. Dans cet hébergement, vous profiterez de prestations de choix comme une laverie. Cette cabane propose une cuisine et 2 plusieurs salles de bain.

Exactly what we were looking for

Very cool old house in a perfect location! Loved the waterfall, especially listening to it from the porch. There is a ton of good hiking nearby. We had visits from hummingbirds, lightning bugs, and a (smallish) black bear. Thanks for providing the home base for our vacation!

Wonderful Fall Weekend

We had an excellent stay over a beautiful October weekend. The property is as advertised and even better. We had great communication with the manager, with clear instructions. The property is private and secluded, but close to town. The Fall colors all around us were awesome!

This place is awesome. It’s a real cabin, which is hard to find around Highlands these days. The location and the cabin itself help you feel even more in the mountains, rather than removed from them. The waterfall is gorgeous — the owners undersell it if anything! We are already talking about a return trip

Peaceful Place

Our family enjoyed unplugging and unwinding in this very special place. It was just as described and very suitable for our group. We hope to visit again. The location was convenient to town but still secluded.

Cold home great location

Jennifer was great communicating and let us come in early (we did not make it till 4 anyway). When we got there NO heat. Was told there was space heaters--2 for entire house plus 2 more decorative things that gave little heat. Fireplace was great but needed much more wood. Instead of being concerned over my elderly aunt walking down to the waterfall should be concerned over cold house and no heat al all in either bathroom! Speaking of the waterfall--if you have great eyesight (which my 90 year old aunt no longer has) you can a TINY white spot from the porch. You can hear it well. Nice updated kitchen. Granddad did a wonderful job on his home.

Private and cozy

Wonderfly rustic and very private. You can just see the top of the small waterfall from the patio. The host was very gracious and promptly dealt with a plumbing issue we had on arrival. She seemed more bothered by it than we were but it was fixed first thing in the morning. My daughter and son-in-law loved it as well and we plan on returning.

Great cabin!

Our family of four loved our recent stay in this cabin. The cabin feels very homey. The waterfall is beautiful & peaceful. We loved feeling away from it all but only 10 minutes to downtown Highlands.

Charming

Such a lovely, charming old cabin set in the woods with a waterfall tht was so wonderful to hear while sleeping or enjoying the atio or the outdoor fire pit. The big stone fireplace was terrific. We highly recommend it and look forward to the possibility of staying there again.

Beautiful Area and great old cabin with character

This cabin was perfect for a weekend stay for a wedding in the area. The waterfall on the property was beautiful to see and hear from the porch. The cabin has tons of character. Great for families.

Peaceful Retreat

Great rustic cabin, short drive to town

The cabin is exactly as described, and the kids enjoyed the waterfall. The path down is quite steep, but kids and most adults could do it. Everything was in good working order, we did use the heaters and fireplace in the evenings (even in July) but that was sufficient to warm up, and the days were lovely. There were some bugs, but it is a cabin in the woods. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc
 The owners were very responsive to all of our questions, overall it was a great trip!
