Venez découvrir le comté de Fayette, en Virginie-Occidentale à son meilleur. La maison Hemlock est située sur notre ferme de 300 acres en bordure de la zone de loisirs nationale de la riviÚre Gauley avec un accÚs direct aux riviÚres Gauley et Meadow.

Le Hemlock est une maison de 3 chambres et mezzanine (2900 pieds carrés). Cette maison est magnifique: conçue et construite avec des accessoires et des équipements haut de gamme, aucune dépense n'a été épargnée. La maison Hemlock est une maison de location de vacances de taille moyenne. C'est un excellent choix pour les groupes et les familles de taille moyenne. Beaucoup d'espace, bain à remous privé, cuisine complÚte, vue sur le canyon et 2. 5 bains.

La propriété offre des vues à couper le souffle, des falaises rocheuses, des monuments historiques, une cascade de 70 pieds, des sentiers naturels, des rails pour les sentiers le long des riviÚres, avec des possibilités infinies pour l'aventure. Ce qui rend cette destination si unique, c'est que toutes ces activités de vacances sont à votre porte. Vous pourrez arriver à la maison, garer la voiture et laisser libre cours à votre imagination

Lorsque vous choisissez de remonter dans la voiture familiale, la maison est situĂ©e Ă  quelques minutes en voiture de plusieurs parcs d'État et parcs nationaux de Virginie-Occidentale ainsi que de nombreuses possibilitĂ©s d'aventure en plein air disponibles auprĂšs des meilleurs pourvoyeurs professionnels de la rĂ©gion. Nous sommes Ă©galement Ă  une courte distance en voiture de plusieurs terrains de golf de qualitĂ©.

Gem in the backwoods of WV. Good home base for New River Gorge Rafting and Summerville lake. Good communication with Pervis during booking, stay and checkout. Nice property with many trailed and a great view into the meadow river gorge.

Outdoor Adventures

Pervis is a very caring host. He made a personal call to us just to make sure we were aware that a storm was coming in. The trails on the property make the experience even better. Waking up in the morning and being able to walk the trails on the property is very convenient. The trails are well marked. From the porch, we saw deer and other wildlife.House is fully stocked to allow you to prepare meals for your stay. House is very nice too.Thank you for a great place to stay William and Jaime

Thanksgiving weekend

We really enjoyed our time at Hemlock house. It was well equipped and had plenty of gathering and sleeping space. The Hot Tub was toasty warm at night, and the views with falling snow were magnificent. About that snow
 the drive back to the house off the main highway is pretty significant, but well maintained. Before the snow even fell, though the owner called to give us a heads up and let us know a storm was coming in. We had plenty of time to prepare and he even offered us extr time to get out in the morning. I highly recommend!

Senior Ladies Hiking Group Enjoyed House with Trails Right There

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others. It was conveniently located to the gorge, the bridge, shopping, and lots of wonderful hiking trails. We liked that you could walk out the back door and hike too. The house had all we needed, well stocked kitchen and more. It was so peaceful and quiet and loved the sunrise off the back deck.

Get Away From it All

The home, property, view and surroundings were excellent. The home was well-stocked and very clean. The host was helpful, gracious, a bit business-like. The narrow road to the property was challenging, but worth the trip. We got used to it though. A wonderful 'get away from it all' property.

Fantastic mountain retreat

We had a wonderful time staying here! The setting is beautiful, and we loved sitting around the fire pit and watching the sun set. We also enjoyed being able to walk out the back door and directly into the woods. The house was comfortable, roomy, and provided everything we needed for a wonderful getaway.

Beautiful home

What a gorgeous home with large windows, cathedral ceiling in the open great room/dining room. We wish the weather had been better to take advantage of the outdoor covered patio with dining area and comfy chairs, plus the hot tub. After hiking each day in the New River Gorge National Park, we appreciated being able to easily fix dinner in the spacious, well equipped kitchen. The owner went over and above when we could not figure out how to work Direct TV - his teenage son came over and together by cell they figured out the problem; special thanks to both!

Secluded but convenient to local attractions

The Hemlock House was perfect for us! There is a master bedroom/bath on first floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor. This allowed for plenty of space and privacy for each couple. We spent one day hiking the trails right outside the house. The beach trail is a challenging walk but so worth it! We spent another day exploring the National Park and Babcock State Park which were both within 30 minutes of the house. Can't wait to return!

Great escape in the mountains

We really enjoyed our time in Hico. Our intention was to have a place big enough for 7 adults and 3 kids that was close to Summersville lake and Fayetteville. This place fits that bill with it being 25 minutes from both. The home was clean and the owner communicated via text reliably. The parking area was large enough for 3 vehicles and a 20 foot boat on a trailer. The road to the property is a single lane and sometimes tight street as the locals zoom around us visitors making our way to and from the house. The only issue we had was the listing showing the amount of beds available. The listing is accurate as there is a king in the master, a queen in another room, 2 singles in the 3rd. There are 2 hideaway beds under the 2 singles and a couple of roll away beds in the bedroom closets. Just be aware that there is only 3 bedrooms. Not a big deal for us with the kids wanting to sleep in the loft anyways but if we had 4 couples sharing the home, there would have been a contest to see who gets a bedroom. The hot tub worked and it was awesome to be under the stars. The trails right from the home were great too. Our family cooks a big meal every night we are together and this kitchen was the most completely stocked kitchen we have ever rented. You will not have to bring anything for big meal preps to this house! This house will be at the top of our list if we choose to vacation in WV again.

Beautiful and private property

Beautiful property and the house was great. Private, quiet, and clean. The only regret is that our weekend was so packed we didn't get a chance to explore the trail system on the property that goes down to the river. Would love to come back and spend more time at the house.
