LAKEFRONT ESCAPE ON LAKE CHATUGE! This newly remodeled 6BR/4BA retreat blends comfort, fun, and stunning waterfront views. Start your day on the private dock, spend afternoons boating or fishing, and gather around the fire pit under the stars. Inside, enjoy a cozy fireplace, spacious living areas, and room for the whole group. Challenge friends to ping pong or Jenga, and take advantage of the RV hookup with covered parking. The perfect setting for unforgettable lake memories!

Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 45-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

The home has a circle drive with plenty of parking and will accommodate a boat trailer.

There are two "local" airports 1 in Andrews NC and the other in Blairsville GA.

*Only the number of people the house sleeps are allowed at the property at any given time.
*Please supply your own firewood for the outside firepit
*2 car garage for guest use
* Covered RV parking with full hook-up.
* The lake level starts going down after Labor Day weekend. There is not water under the dock year around.
*Coffee maker is a Keurig
* There are 4 TVs in the home. 1 in each living area and 1 in each of the king bedrooms. All Tv's are streaming.
*Kitchen is equipped with essentials for cooking plus, toaster, blender, hand mixer, wine fridge

Feel free to enjoy the dock. The owners' boat may be docked at the dock during your stay. It is not part of the rental and is not available for guest use.
If you bring or rent a boat, you're welcome to use the dock. Please be mindful of the water depth when docking, as it can vary depending on lake conditions.
