Vesta View - Self catering accommodation that sleeps 10 guests in 5 bedrooms

Vesta View, named after the Roman goddess of the hearth, home and family is a modern and luxurious spacious property offering spectacular panoramic views of open countryside.

Set in the heart of Hadrian's Wall Country and Northumberland National Park; home to England's cleanest rivers, clearest air and darkest skies, the property has everything you need for a perfect break.

There are five well sized bedrooms, which are light, bright and offering unspoilt views of open countryside. The three upstairs bedrooms have king sized beds. The two downstairs rooms have a choice of super king double or two single beds. Each bedroom has ensuite shower facilities with a fixed rain head and height adjustable shower head and some with a bath. One of the downstairs bedrooms is fully accessible with a large and spacious wet room. The other downstairs bedroom has a walk in shower.

The lounge and dining area is open plan, with a wood burner in the lounge. The kitchen is spacious and light with an upright fridge, five ring induction hob, two fan assisted ovens, dishwasher and a microwave.

There is a small utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and upright freezer.

If you are looking for a relaxing or active break at any time of the year in England's Border Country, Vesta View is ideally situated to meet your needs. We will make you very welcome and ensure your stay is memorable.

Carraw Farm

We had a great stay at this property while working locally. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything we needed for a longer work stay. Vesta view was an amazing place for our recent birthday celebrations. Luxury accommodation with stunning views from nearby every window. The property offers everything you could possibly want and more. Suited our multi-generational group but equally would have been prefect for a group of friends.

Great house with everything you need and fab views!

This lovely house was such a good find for our weekend away with family and friends - all rooms with own bathrooms and the spacious layout was perfect for 10 people. Well equipped with everything we needed and more. The views across the countryside are lovely - we didn’t want to leave! Our welcome hamper of treats was a lovely touch too.

Wonderful!

We were celebrating our friend’s 50th Birthday and had a wonderful stay at Carraw Farm. This was our second visit and looking forward to the next. Amazing views, loved the herd of cows quietly meandering the fields and the chickens were cute too! The house was very well equipped and met all of our needs. The hosts were excellent, answered all of our enquiries and very welcoming. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Carraw Farm.

Perfect Stay

Vesta View is a beautiful property with everything you could possibly need from fantastic bed's & bedding to all rooms just fab the kitchen has everything you need & more. The view from the house is unbeatable with the added bonus of the chicken's right outside the window we would definitely stay again the sooner the better.

Absolutely fabulous

We spent a lovely week with friends in this super well equipped and spacious house, with the most gorgeous views. Large enough for two families. Spacious rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely cows that came round every evening at the brick wall. Adored the free range chickens.

The property worked well for less physically able guests. The wetroom and shower seat and rails near the toilets were very useful as was the level access from parking area. All of the treats such as the cake and wine were much appreciated. Thank you for making it a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect weekend with family.

A beautiful house with a lovely vista. The house is very accessible, with a good garden space, we did enjoy the company of the chickens! It has very comfortable beds and furnishings with adequate capacity for our family of 9. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cutlery. The region is perfect for exploring Roman archaeology or just walking in a beautiful landscape. As a far scattered family, Vesta View was the perfect place to come together for a long weekend.

Vesta View is a joy!

We had such a great visit here. Home from home only better! It was pleasing to find a beautiful property in such a scenic location. Vesta View is extremely inclusive, all too often wheelchair accessible rooms are miserable but not here, every bedroom was a joy. The hosts were very discreet but available if we wanted them. Our welcome pack was delicious, even a home made cake, it was so thoughtful and kind. We had a very happy family stay here, it was a joy and of course, we’d love to come back!

A Memorable Family Christmas at Vesta View

We spent Christmas week at Vesta View as a group of seven (extended) family members, and it was absolutely perfect. Kevin and Leah are exceptional hosts who did everything to make our stay special. We arrived to a decorated tree and a lovely welcome hamper, including delicious homemade cake and granola, which was a wonderful touch. The property itself is spacious enough that our large group never felt crowded, yet cozy for presents and big family dinners. The kitchen was well-equipped to handle the Christmas roast—thanks in part to Kevin and Leah’s excellent local recommendations, including the best butcher for our turkey order! The location is a dream—right among the most scenic sections of the Hadrian’s Wall path. It was absolute heaven for the walkers and amateur photographers in our group who wanted to capture the best of the National Park. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the festive season, and we highly recommend it to any large group looking for a peaceful, well-supported getaway.

An excellent group get-together

Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Everything we needed was provided. Very clean throughout. A lovely rural location with fabulous views, but near to many of the Hadrian’s Wall attractions. Only 20 minutes to Hexham for restaurants and shops. Kevin and Leah friendly and helpful. Plenty of information provided in advance which is helpful in planning what to do. Thoroughly recommended for group get-togethers.

Fabulous, light-filled, accessible accommodation.

As a large family group we frequently book self-catering accommodation for get-togethers and we all agreed that this was the best we’d encountered in the UK. There was no squabbling about who got the ‘best’ room as each had the wow factor - extremely comfortable beds, good bathrooms and each one facing those fabulous views. As one of our party uses an electric wheelchair, accessibility was important and Vesta View ticked every box including an excellent, spacious wetroom. We hope to return again one day.

October week’s Break

Vesta View is in an ideal location for visiting Hadrian’s Wall and the name of the house says it all - it has an amazing view stretching for miles. We were made very welcome with so many personal touches such as a welcome hamper, fresh flowers and a delicious chocolate cake. it really was a ‘home from home’ with such attention to detail. The accommodation is beautiful and there is so much to see in the surrounding area. We loved the free range chickens! I would thoroughly recommend it.

Cozy property with stunning views wish we had stayed longer.

Stayed here with some friends to celebrate my 30th birthday and couldn't of picked a better spot and was definitely the highlight of the celebration. The property is stunning, very clean and extremely well equipped with everything we needed and more. The views were absolutely breathtaking and we couldn't stop taking pictures, loved lighting a fire sitting back and taking in the views with a drink. Bedrooms were cozy and very comfortable. We wished we had stayed longer but have already decided that this won't be the last time we stay here and will be returning in the not too distant future. Thank you for making it a birthday to remember.
