Climb to the top of and youâll be rewarded with panoramic views over the beautiful Vale of Ewyas and the Black Mountains. Browse its quirky bookstores, explore its 900-year-old castle, and check out the artisan produce on offer at its impressive weekly farmersâ market. Alternatively, discover the Roman temple ruins at the National Trustâs Weir Garden (13.5 miles). Discover the hidden beauty in the Walled Garden, see the exotic trees in the Rockery, and explore the Glasshouse, which was built in the 19th century by the same company that built Queen Victoriaâs glasshouses.
