“Mastabas” where our apartment is located is a densely populated suburb of Heraklion. It was also referred to as "Kolonaki tou Heraklion" because it had a lot of pine trees, quiet and a relatively good quality of life, although it is very close to the center of Heraklion. It has shops for all needs and maintains the reputation of the "good area" of Heraklion.
