Welcome to Villa Im Bongert
Enjoy peace and quiet, plenty of space and a warm, homely atmosphere at Villa Im Bongert: a detached holiday villa at the gateway to the Eifel National Park. Villa Im Bongert was where our love for the Eifel began. What was once a holiday home for our own use has, since 2020, grown into a much-loved holiday villa where we take great pleasure in welcoming guests from home and abroad. Many guests have already enjoyed a wonderful holiday here, as reflected in the numerous positive reviews on the various booking platforms.

Villa Im Bongert is ideal for families, multi-generational groups, couples or friends who want to enjoy peace and quiet, space, nature, privacy and a comfortable stay in the Eifel together.

Spacious and comfortable accommodation
The spacious living room, with its large seating area and wood-burning stove, forms the cosy heart of the villa. You’ll also find a spacious dining area and a modern, fully equipped kitchen where you can cook and dine together in style. On the ground floor, there’s also a separate lounge – a lovely spot to read a book in peace, play a game or simply unwind.

Layout of the villa
Villa Im Bongert offers approximately 190 m² of living space as standard, featuring a spacious, cosy living room with a wood-burning stove, a spacious dining area, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, an additional utility room with storage space, three spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds (2 double beds and 1 bunk bed), a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, double washbasin and toilet, a separate lounge area on the ground floor, a separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a detached garage.

For larger families or multi-generational groups, Villa Im Bongert can be extended to include an extra spacious bedroom and a second bathroom on the ground floor. This allows the villa to accommodate up to 8 people (a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children), whilst smaller groups pay only for the space they use. Enjoying the outdoors
The villa is surrounded by a large garden on three levels. Right next to the living area is a spacious terrace with a dining table, comfortable chairs, a barbecue, a wood-burning stove and a trampoline. On the lower level, you’ll find a picnic table and a lovely spot for a hammock. At the bottom of the garden is a play area with a swing and a slide. There’s a lovely spot for everyone to relax or enjoy time together outdoors.

Peacefully situated yet close to everything
Villa Im Bongert is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Hellenthal, less than 500 metres from the town centre. Restaurants, shops and a large Aldi are easily accessible on foot. From the villa, you can walk or cycle straight into the countryside. There are also various walking and cycling routes in the immediate vicinity, meaning you can often leave the car at home.

Discover the Eifel
Hellenthal lies at the gateway to the Eifel National Park and is an ideal base for walking, cycling, mountain biking and motorcycling. The Oleftalsperre, the Hellenthal Wildlife Reserve, Monschau, the Rursee, Kronenburger See, the Vennbahn and the Nürburgring are all within easy reach. Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Trier, Maastricht and the wine regions of the Ahr Valley and the Moselle are also excellent destinations for a day trip.

Every season has its own charm. In spring, thousands of wild daffodils bloom; in summer, the lakes and outdoor swimming pools invite you to swim and relax; autumn paints the woods in beautiful colours; and in winter, provided there is enough snow, the Weißer Stein offers opportunities for winter sports.
