Enjoy a fun, relaxing stay at our completely renovated chalet in The Woods Resort in beautiful Berkeley County, WV--a 90-minute drive from the Washington DC-Baltimore Metro Area. You'll be in the heart of the WV Eastern panhandle, close to Sleepy Creek, Berkeley Springs, Cacapon State Park, Antietam National Battlefield, and more. The Woods Resort amenities (fees apply) include a spa, restaurant, and two golf courses, three swimming pools, tennis, pickleball, fitness, and a playground.

Either Michael, Lisa, or Bronwen will be available to answer questions messaged through AirBNB. I have team members close by who can offer in person help if required.

The Starcatcher Chalet is located in The Woods Resort, a four season community that has its own security, restaurant, two golf courses, three pools (two are seasonal), and a wonderful and active community of homeowners.

Guests will enjoy the entire chalet, and access to the amenities (fees apply) of The Woods resort. Access is through a smart lock, with a custom code set for the duration of each guest's stay.

The hosts purchased the chalet in August 2022 and spent six months renovating it before making it available to our guests. The chalet is intimate enough for a couple's getaway, but flexible enough to host a group of friends or a family or two! It sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on an acre of forest. It has two bedrooms with king -size beds, two renovated bathrooms, a bunkhouse-style sleeping loft, brand-new kitchen, amazing great room with new gas fireplace and dining area for up to twelve, a sunroom/game room with a surprisingly comfortable sleep sofa. There is fast wifi, two dedicated work spaces, and 3 smart TVs in the chalet. Outdoors there is a 5-person hot tub, two large decks for stargazing and enjoying the forest, a stainless steel fire pit, and ample free parking.

You need a personal vehicle to get around the area. There are few sidewalks.

No smoking is allowed inside the chalet. Pets are welcome (pet fee applies) and service animals are welcome without a fee.

Had a great vacation with our daughter and grandson. Enjoyed the pond and lake for fishing, enjoyed the three pools...even had one to ourself for a brief period. For as big as the community is the pools werent crowded at all. Saw a lot of deer and just enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful outdoors.

Comfy Cozy Christmas

We had a great stay at the Chalet and look forward to booking it again in the future. The kitchen was well stocked, there were board games, toys, and activities too. We didn’t take advantage of the hot tub but loved that as an added amenity. The owners were very responsive and the checkin/ out process was simple.

Family Trip

This place is amazing! My family of 13 ages 3-70 stayed here for 3 nights. There was enough space for all of us, without feeling like we were on top of each other. Beds were amazing and so comfortable! We have a boy who’s still potty training and forgot his potty seat, but they have an added potty seat attached to one of the bathrooms it was a nice touch and helped us out a lot. Lastly

Perfect cozy cabin in the woods!

We stayed in this delightful cabin for a girls trip & absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was extremely clean & matched all photos & descriptions. The space was even bigger than expected & worked perfectly for our group. We loved cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, watching movies on the big comfy couch, & using the outdoor hot tub! We would definitely book again & 100% recommend if you’re looking for a cozy cabin getaway!

Comfy cabin

2 couples spent 2 nights and loved the cabin. Always looking for places with 2 King bedrooms for comfort and although we didn't use, the loft set up would be great for kids or a girls/guys weekend. Kitchen well equipped and loved everything we needed on one floor. Property manager easy to reach and great communication!

Great, quiet property!

Friends were looking for a getaway weekend and this property delivered! Recently renovated and stocked property on a quiet, secluded lot/street. Resort amenities are plentiful and took advantage of Sports Center. Highly recommend!
