McClain Lake is a quiet 53 acre lake ideal for kayaking, paddling, fishing, and relaxing on the water. It connects by a navigable channel to the Tiger Cat Flowage, an 819 acre fully recreational lake known for boating, watersports, and excellent fishing. From there, you can continue on to Upper Twin Lake, a Class A musky lake with abundant musky, perch, and bluegill. Fishing is popular throughout the chain, including along the shoreline for bass and panfish. A nearby lakeside resort can be reached by boat for food, drinks, and fuel.

PROPERTY SETTING
The home is located on a large, flat lot with a stone path that provides an easy walk toward the lake. A spacious flagstone fire pit area offers plenty of seating for enjoying lake views during the day and stargazing at night. On the lower level, a screened porch with a dining table creates a comfortable outdoor space for meals, games, or relaxing while enjoying the Northwoods surroundings.

LOCATION AND LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
When you are ready to explore beyond the lake, the area offers a variety of activities including local restaurants, boutique shops, wineries, lumberjack shows, and family attractions like go cart tracks. This full log cabin is conveniently located just 15 minutes from downtown Hayward and about 10 minutes from the Chequamegon National Forest. Several restaurants and bars are nearby if you prefer dining out during your stay.

THE CABIN
This full log home features an open floor plan with multiple gathering spaces so everyone has room to relax. The main level offers beautiful lake views and an open connection between the kitchen, dining, and living areas, along with access to a large deck. The walkout lower level includes a comfortable seating area, overstuffed chairs, a large flat screen TV, and a stone fireplace. The loft area provides additional seating, a TV and DVD player, kids books, and scenic lake views.

The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals for up to twelve guests and includes a high end induction range, double oven, and ample cookware. Coffee lovers will appreciate the dual coffee maker with both a 12 cup drip option and single serve pods, along with a coffee grinder.

INTERNET AND AMENITIES
Added in 2022, the home features Starlink satellite internet, providing fast and reliable connectivity. Board games, books, and multiple seating areas make it easy to relax indoors.

KAYAKS AND OUTDOOR FEATURES
During the summer months, four kayaks are available for guest use. Adult life jackets are provided, though guests should bring properly sized jackets for children. Kayaks may only be used with life jackets, and children under 18 must be supervised by an adult. A fish cleaning table with a hose hookup is also available.

DOG FRIENDLY
This home is dog friendly with prior approval and an additional fee. Up to two dogs are allowed. Dogs must be well behaved, supervised at all times, and crated when left alone. The yard is not fenced, and guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Cats are not permitted.

HOUSEKEEPING
The home is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each guest stay following local health department guidelines. Paper products, basic soaps, and bedding are provided. A full size washer and dryer are available on the main level, and all linens are professionally laundered between guests.
