You can simply park up and enjoy everything on foot. There are fabulous walks from the doorstep, including Hardraw Force, England’s highest unbroken waterfall, and the Pennine Way. Cyclists will enjoy the popular routes of the Tour de Yorkshire or Grand Depart. Local amenities are plentiful in Hawes, with excellent local butcher shop, delicatessen, grocery store and interesting selection of shops, traditional pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. Not forgetting the ever-popular Wensleydale creamery where Gromit’s cheese is made!

This charming stone-built cottage has been fully refurbished throughout by its owners to provide attractive and comfortable accommodation for your stay. The living accommodation is open plan and combines modern style with traditional features, décor is light and relaxing and blends with the original beams and oak furnishings. A comfortable sofa and reclining chairs are set around a feature fireplace and a large window seat is the perfect spot to sit with a morning coffee and watch the world go by. The shaker style kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for your stay. An open staircase leads up to the two bedrooms, the master with double bed, attractive bed linen and oak furniture, the second with a single bed.
