Adjacent to the cathedral stands the 13th-century Bishop’s Palace, a truly magnificent sight. Further along this north coast you will uncover the fishing village of Porthgain and a delightful restaurant which specialises in local freshly caught sea fish, and overlooks the picture postcard harbour. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family, and located only 30 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions.
