This second-floor condo at Durant Station features a stunning, oceanfront primary bedroom, a 28-foot sundeck overlooking the beach, and both ocean and sound views that you'll remember for years to come. You'll also be treated to an extensive electronics package, including four TVs, a VCR, a DVD player, a stereo/CD player, satellite HDTV with DVR, and free high-speed WiFi for your laptop.

The Durant Station Condominiums offer spectacular ocean views, private oceanfront decks, and sound-side decks for viewing colorful sunsets. Elevator service to all levels makes this property a convenient choice for all ages: there's no need to haul luggage or groceries up long flights of stairs.

You'll be just a few steps from the ocean via a private wooden walkway. Durant Station also offers a host of amenities, including one of Hatteras Island's largest pools with an adjacent hot tub. The Durant Station Community Center is crowned by the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower, a rich piece of Hatteras Island's past. The Community Center is ideal for relaxing with friends, conducting meetings, attending wedding parties and receptions, or simply enjoying the lounge areas which offer a 50-inch plasma TV, a pool table, a gas fireplace, and a complete kitchen on the upper level.

The home was cleaned and well maintained. Luggage carts on site made loading and unloading a breeze. Best part by far was waking up to the Atlantic Ocean at my feet. The views were INCREDIBLE!

Great area

Great time it was nice. The only big thing was the bed in the front room over looking the ocean. The box spring and mattress is bad it squeaks every time you move in the bed. Cleaning could be better the shower curtain in one of the bathroom was dirty and dust bunny on the floor when arriving.

PERFECT BEACHFRONT SETTING

Well equipped condo with lovely ocean view. The elevator and outdoor beach ramp was very much appreciated by my handicapped son (wheelchair). An interior shower/tub handicap bar would have made things “perfect” for him.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation

Love the second floor condo. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. Loved the beachfront view…sunrise. Elevator was a necessity for us. We enjoy off season at the beach and the price was great also. There is a hot tub available, but we did not use it by choice. We have a fantastic time. Thanks.

Nice. Fix a few things ...

In master bedroom ... fan makes lots of noise, light bulbs in jack-n-jill bathroom need replacing, and the toilet keeps running. Also, the balcony above the balcony deck for this condo is leaking down. No TV channels work in extra bedrooms. For over 3k a week, everything should be in working condition.

Good location great customer service

The condo was overall great . If I had to be picky I would say under the beds were dust bunnies and the master bath toilet was leaking . The toilet in the other room Was not cleaned under the seat. The fan in the master bath was really noisy. Again this is just being picky . The customer service was wonderful and replied back immediately with my answers. The view was wonderful and the furniture and beds were comfy. Plenty of towels and supplies . Just could not give 5 stars because of those little picky things 😀

Great location and property amenities, need some repairs.

Bathtub between bedrooms is extremely slow to drain. Fills up during a short shower. Toilet between bedrooms has a janky handle and runs if not jiggled. Dishwasher does not clean very well...need to wash the dishes before you run them through. One of the high deck chairs has a broken back on it. Dishes in the kitchen are getting pretty chipped up. But we'll stocked with pots and pans. Couch is super comfy. AC is super cold and ceiling fans are wonderful.

Hatteras Happy

Overall the four of us girls were very happy with the location. None of us had ever been as far South on the Outer Banks, and even though it was a long day of travel to get there, we loved the location. The view of the ocean from our balcony was perfection! It would have been nice if there were 4 chairs at the table out there , but I understand that there wasn’t enough room for one more. We all did have a few complaints about some of the ‘creature comforts’ the condo was missing, like bath mats, kitchen towels and washcloths, the sink stopper was broken and the fan in the master bedroom was broken. We did contact the rental company and they sent a guy to fix it, but he wasn’t able to fix it. Also the left side of the sink in the master bathroom was stopped up. There could have been some more attention to details on the housecleaning side, like the dusty ceiling fan blades, and when we arrived the floors were very sandy. Small details like this didn’t ruin our trip though.. these things were just small annoyances but our overall stay was very pleasant and relaxing! We’d definitely recommend it to friends or family!
