With natural sunlight and gorgeous views of Lake Coeur d'Alene streaming in through generous windows, this waterfront home makes a wonderful escape in Northern Idaho. Enjoy your own private beach for swimming, a dock for your watercraft, and all the space you need for an unforgettable stay on the lake.

This two-story home enjoys a prime lakefront position near the northeastern tip of Lake Coeur d'Alene, close to the Mineral Ridge Scenic Area. When you're not kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, or fishing for Chinook salmon, bass, and northern pike, you'll have plenty to explore nearby. Hayden (21 miles), Harrison (22 miles), Silverwood Theme Park (31 miles), and Silver Mountain Resort (34 miles) are all within day-tripping distance.

Begin and end each day outside, taking in the beauty of the lakefront grounds. Sip your first cup of coffee on the dock as the sunrise illuminates the lake, and fire up the gas grill at lunchtime for a barbecue on the deck. In the evenings, gather for sunset views on the patio before roasting marshmallows around the firepit.

Inside, this home features soaring ceilings and large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a dining space for dinners and board games, and a living area where you can stream movies by the gas fireplace at night. A Ping-Pong table and Blu-ray/DVD capability add to the sources of home entertainment. Central air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.

Things to Know

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This was a great house to stay at as we explored the Coeur d'Alene area. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable and our kids loved the loft area and games! They especially enjoyed playing table tennis. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice having a patio to hang out on in the evenings. Things to note: The road to the home is a one-lane gravel road with some pretty steep areas and drop offs (no guard rails). We rented a Nissan Rogue and did not have any issues with getting to or from the property, but did wonder what we would do if an oncoming car came our way. Also, for anyone with mobility issues: The home is on a high bank. Our kids counted 80 steps down to the water, with a sloped dirt path between the stairs. There is a sloped gravel path from the top of the road down to the house, as well. This was not a concern for us, but I wanted to mention it since it doesn't appear to be mentioned in the listing. Overall, this is a 5-star property and we were very happy with our stay.

Not as advertised and disappointed

If you like a loud interstate next to your lake front VRBO this place is perfect for you. The property was ok but the outside and dock area were run down, not picked up and in need of repair. The house was pretty clean but certainly not worth the money spent. The worse part was I90 running across the lake from the house! All I could hear when outside was truck jake breaks and road noise. This should have been disclosed in the description. It was so bad I couldn't open my windows at night to get "fresh" lake air because of the noise.

Short Visit

My husband stayed two night with his dog. Booking through Vacasa for the first time was a bit of a challenge. The property was clean though and he enjoyed being on the water. He could not get any of the remotes to work the TVs though. Parking is tight so he was glad he did not take one of our full sized trucks on the trip.

Rest and relaxation

The house and views were amazing!! I wanted a secluded house in the lake and that is exactly what I got. The house was very clean and had anything we might have needed. I was able to unwind and recharge. The property managers were amazing too. The water pressure was nonexistent, I called and it was fixed within 4 hours. Now that’s what I call service. Thanks Brent. I was surprised at the steep walk to the house and lake. That needs to be explained better in the description, if I had brought my mother as originally planned she would not have been able to make it to the lake. Thanks again for a wonderful week.

Out 13th summer in CDA

Had a great family vacation in this waterfront home. We have stayed in many homes between Hayden Lake and Lake CDA. The inside of home was very clean on arrival and the walk down to the dock was safe and well kept. The outside of this home could use some TLC. Lots of left over old water toys from previous guest, old marshmallow on patio chairs and tables, unkept landscaping, and broken dock chairs to name a few. The interior housekeeping was great just think some love needs to shown to the outside too. Great location and nice dock for water sports and family fun. We will keep it in our return list. Overall a great time

Beautiful view and lake-time fun

This property was great! A short climb down to the lake but the stairs and pathway were safe and easily accessible. The house had everything we needed and more. The dock was awesome and my family enjoyed every minute.

Lovely house, not private, noisy and housekeeping is terrible.

Nice property, beautiful home. However, it needs a better housekeeping protocal, dirty dishes and utensils in cupboards and drawers, carpets were filthy, floors and patio hadn't been swept properly and previous dog hair on bedding and front of couch. I love my dogs but really? Clean up for the next guest if you're "pet friendly", we certainly pay fees for that! There is also a mice problem, D-Con was left out so not ideal for pets. The location is pretty, but definitely not private, houses directly on both sides, which makes taking a walk trespassing. Sitting out on the deck is noisy, the interstate is just on the other side of the lake in front of the house so constant exhaust brakes and noise. The trip down to the lake from the house is difficult to traverse, very steep and slippery. Not recommended for anyone with bad knees or the elderly.

Wonderful Lake Views & Cozy Bungalow

We loved it! Great views of the lake and surrounding area. Very cozy and we all had a great time with the ping pong table and games! It was also super nice to have outdoor seating and the BBQ. Pretty Drive to the lake house and not too far from town. It was a getaway to remember. Thank you
