Enjoy all that Maine has to offer in this 3900+sq ft contemporary home located on 180 ft of ocean front property. This home boasts a private rocky beach, overlooking Quahog Bay, in the private Long Cove area of Harpswell.

The home is nestled at the end of a private road, dropping you and your guests, at a tranquil retreat, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The homes architecture takes advantage of the ocean views from every room and angle, on each and every floor. You are met immediately by the sweeping views as you enter through the front doors of the home and are greeted by a wall of windows that capture the majestic beauty of the ocean beyond.

The home invites you to lounge for hours on the expansive deck off the main floor living area, or lures you to the fourth floor to enjoy the serenity and sounds of the ocean waves while you nap peacefully on the expansive 10ft cozy couch.

The kids will find excitement outdoors as they explore the grounds along the shore, searching for treasures while the adults nearby on the lower patio watch the lobster boats pull up their traps and the sailboats glide on by.

If you are looking for adventure you need not go far to find great hiking trails and local treasure. Right within Harpswell you can explore many natural trails known as the Harpswell Hikers Challenge and visit some historic sites like the Cribstone Bridge. If you are up for a day of adventure Maine will not disappoint with many beautiful parks and beaches. A few of my family favorites are Reid State Park, Popham Beach State Park and Pemaquid Light House, and there are so many, many, more.

For a quieter experience of shopping and dining, Harpswell is conveniently located with close proximity to Brunswick (9 miles), Freeport (16 miles) and Portland (36miles). All offer a unique quintessentially Maine experience with great shops and restaurants.

This is our third stay at Sunrise Catcher and it never disappoints. Thank you for sharing your lovely home on the water in Harpswell. The location is ideal and we love looking out and being surrounded by water views. Beds are so comfortable too. It's a quiet home and we love taking walks in the neighborhood.

Spectacular for our "siblings" vacation. Six adults and this was perfect for each couple to have "suites" and private space. The views were amazing, kitchen FULLY stocked and conveniently laid out. Would highly recommend. Quiet street, perfect for morning walks in a beautiful setting!

Beautiful home! Kitchen stocked with absolutely anything you might need. Very much enjoyed our stay. We were all 75/- women - which may explain the following
The only concern was that there were no railings on the front steps or stairs to upper floors. Also a few tripper steps here and there. First walk into the foyer to living area carrying luggage ended in a fall. Other than that, great place!!! Remember, we aren’t kids

Highly recommend. Beautiful location, quiet & spacious floor plan. Close to shopping/groceries. There is plenty of room to move around. Was so great to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Property is very clean, well-maintained & stocked. Property Manager responds immediately if anything is needed. Home is on a cove, so it was great to be able to climb down a few rocks to explore area for Seaglass, shells, etc. Enjoyed the large deck to view ocean, lobster boats, morning coffee, afternoon chill-outs, chats & dinner with family.You will not be disappointed at Sunrise Catcher!

Sunrise Catcher

We just completed a week at Sunrise Catcher. The home is located in an eclectic community of homes ranging from modest New England shore cottages to a few people staying in RV’s with a porta potty. The access is by way of a single lane road with multiple speed bumps for the last 1/3 mile. The house is a strangely designed home that looks like a 4-tiered cake as shown in the VRBO photographs. The best part of the house is the main level kitchen/dining/living space which faces east and the large deck. The master suite is on the second floor. The HV/AC split units are very good and kept us comfortable on hot days. Unfortunately, none of the furniture is comfortable to sit in/on. The master bedroom mattress is very hard and our hips and lower backs were not very happy. The dining table chairs, kitchen stools and living room furniture were UNCOMFORTABLE. Wood chairs and stools with no cushions were hard to sit on. The living room sofa and chairs were also very difficult to sit on, although they looked inviting. The toilets were very small and low to the ground, requiring me, a 6’4” fit man to do gymnastics to use them. The kitchen was equipped with very good appliances and everything needed. The 4th floor was a great space with a full bath with a semi-comfortable sofa with great views. Unfortunately, it was not equipped with a split unit and was too hot to sit in except at night. This property is an “8” and we don’t understand it’s “10 rating.

Amazing Property

House was fabulous. Myself, my wife and our two adult kids for long weekend. Weather started off cold and rainy, but house very warm and cozy. Views from every window amazing. Management co was very responsive ( all minor issues) . One of the best stocked houses we have rented.Would go back in a heartbeat

Easter Business and Vacation

Our family enjoyed our 12 day stay. Location was great, shoreline access was perfect for kids to play and catch crabs and gather shells. Traffic was very minimal so walking and bike riding with kids was very good. We also enjoyed the large clean kitchen and since I was working while on vacation; the master bedroom office area was great because of the amazing view and being able to monitor the children while they played on the shoreline. We would definitely consider staying again when and if we travel to Maine in the future.

House is beautiful!! Right on the water!! It was interesting to watch the lobster boats! Plenty of room for three couples. We had a problem but it was quickly addressed by the property manager. Only downside is that it is a bit of a drive to get places.

Amazing Maine

The house was well equipped and clean. The kitchen has everything that you need for cooking. We cooked only breakfast’s. The restaurant recommendations in the binder were great! Cooks was our favorite. The view from the deck is amazing! We spent a lot of time there. You will need some repellent for the friendly ME mosquitoes.

Peaceful Retreat

If you are wanting to step out of your busy life & breathe fresh air this is the place for you. The views of the water from the deck & house are gorgeous. The quaint little neighborhood is quiet & surrounded by water. The home itself is professionally decorated & very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the lobster boats come in and out.

Great House, Great Location, Great Views

Overall this was a fantastic property. Check-in was smooth, communication was as expected. The property had amazing ocean views, was very secluded and had plenty of space, although there were just four of us. My only complaint was it seemed like we had to do more on the cleanup of the property than usual, while still paying pretty hefty cleaning and other fees. Not a huge deal, and it wouldn’t keep us from heartily recommending this property to others. Also, for planning purposes, there is one bedroom in particular that is clearly better than all of the others from a view and space standpoint so there may be an arm wrestle with other adult couples on who gets it. And you can’t tell from the pictures provided, but two of the queen beds are in the same room downstairs in the basement.
