Though not directly on the water, the home offers a front-row seat to the tides, passing lobster boats, and seabirds—all best enjoyed from the spacious upper-level deck bathed in sunshine.

As you enter the home, you're welcomed into the open-concept dining and living area, featuring plenty of natural light and easy going comfort, with ocean views throughout. The kitchen is nicely sized, and fully equipped with everything you need to prepare simple meals. From the Dining Area, a sliding door leads out to the back area, where you’ll find a dining table perfect for al fresco meals. Whether you're enjoying breakfast in the morning sun or dining outdoors in the evening, this spot offers a tranquil space to relax and take in the fresh coastal air. Upstairs, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms—one provides a queen bed, one a double bed, and one with two twin beds—along with a newly updated full bathroom. Another lovely feature on the second floor is another sliding door which leads out to a private upper deck offering serene ocean views—perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or enjoying an evening wine, all while soaking in the sights and sounds of coastal Maine. For those looking to explore right from the cottage, it is just a short walk to Stover’s Point Preserve, a local favorite for beachcombing, sunbathing, swimming, and scenic views of the historical Cribstone Bridge.

Guests are welcome to use the shared granite steps nearby that lead to a tidal beach, great for launching your kayaks, or just enjoying the shoreline. Please note that while Sea Mist Overlook offers beautiful ocean views, there is no direct dock access on the property. We encourage you to explore the nearby coastal areas and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty!
