The Space:

LoneStar Cottage is an inviting studio nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of Texas Hill Country, just a short drive away from the historic and vibrant downtown Fredericksburg. This charming retreat boasts a private en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, and a private deck, inviting guests to unwind and embrace the serene countryside surroundings.



Inside, modern conveniences harmonize with farmhouse charm, offering guests a comfortable stay. The cottage features high-speed Fiber Internet and a state-of-the-art 50-inch smart TV, allowing guests to indulge in their favorite entertainment options during leisure moments.



The well-equipped kitchenette caters to diverse culinary needs. It includes an induction cooktop, a Keurig-style coffee maker, a microwave, an electric skillet, a toaster, and a stainless steel refrigerator. Pots, dishes, glassware, silverware, and cooking/grilling utensils are thoughtfully provided, ensuring that guests have everything required for meal preparation and dining convenience.



Surrounded by over 10 acres of picturesque land, The LoneStar Cottage provides a peaceful retreat for sunset and stargazing enthusiasts as well as nature lovers. The expansive outdoor space offers opportunities for leisurely wildlife observation, making it an ideal spot to connect with the natural beauty of the countryside.



A communal gazebo, affectionately referred to as the "Party Barn", serves as a delightful hub for socializing and creating cherished memories with loved ones. It features an outdoor dining table, two propane gas grills for culinary adventures, cornhole boards, and a propane gas fire pit, all complemented by ample seating. This inviting space with great sunset views and opportunities for amazing stargazing, encourages gatherings and, fostering moments of camaraderie and shared experiences amidst the serene countryside setting.



With its well-appointed interiors, scenic surroundings, and thoughtful communal amenities, LoneStar Cottage is a haven where guests can unwind, revel in the beauty of nature, and create lasting memories with family and friends in the heart of Texas Hill Country.

Guest Access:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59.99 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

For a more flexible and relaxed wine-tasting experience, the 290 Wine Shuttle provides a convenient way to hop between wineries, departing from downtown Fredericksburg and making stops at select wineries every 10 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays.

Main Street serves as the heart of the action in Fredericksburg. With over 150 shops, boutiques, and art galleries, visitors can peruse a wide array of unique offerings. 1. Check-in instructions, house rules, and property addresses will be provided via email.

2. Not all homes have cable; consider setting up a streaming account in advance.

3. Our team is committed to assisting you, though occasional check-in delays may occur during peak periods.

4. WiFi is available in all homes, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures, or discontinued or interrupted services that occur during your stay.

5. A $500 fine will be imposed for any evidence of smoking, confetti, vomit residues, or glitter.

6. Set the A/C no lower than 72 degrees to prevent freezing and system issues; no refunds for low-temperature-related A/C problems.

7. Start-up sundries provided for the first two days; report missing items within one hour of arrival.

8. Pets are allowed only in designated pet-friendly units, subject to an extra fee in addition to the nightly rate. Please verify whether pets are permitted in the unit you intend to rent. In the event that a pet is discovered in a non-pet-friendly unit, the guest grants Stay Texas authorization to levy a minimum additional cleaning fee of $500.

9. Bugs are common in the Texas Hill Country; pest control is in place, but some insects are inevitable.

10. In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at your vacation rental. Check the amenities to see if this rental is equipped with a fire pit.

11. For any issues during your stay, a 72-hour window after check-out is provided to file a claim. Note that refunds won't be issued for claims submitted after this period. We appreciate your cooperation.
