It is a romantic hideaway from the world with everything you need right here. Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise, listen to the loons sing, watch the seals swim up to the rocks as the tide comes in, or cook s'mores in the firepit by the stars.



The Space:

This gorgeous property sits on its own oasis of sunrises, mountain views, and waterfront activities. It is a romantic hideaway from the world with everything you need right here. Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise, listen to the loons sing, watch the seals swim up to the rocks as the tide comes in, or cook s'mores in the firepit by the stars. It is quiet, clean, well stocked, yet close to activities if you do want to leave this peaceful oasis. This FIRST FLOOR 1 Bedroom cottage is nicely furnished indoors and outdoors. It has ample space to relax and enjoy a getaway with all the comforts and conveniences of home.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed. The office has a desk and space to work if needed, and a pull out couch. The 2 spacious full bathrooms both have walk in showers. There is a new washer and dryer and plenty of storage!

The screened in porch has a wonderful wildlife view, and is a great place to relax. This open and sunny one floor home has room to spread out and watch TV, relax in front of the fireplace, or head outside to sunbathe and grill! The kitchen has a ton of counter space, new appliances, and fully equipped kitchen for those meals at home.

This home is on the coveted waterfront community of Hancock point, with Carters beach, clay tennis courts, a nondenominal chapel, a public library, and the Crocker House Restaurant. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are approximately 18 miles away. Schoodic Point, and down east Maine are approximately 18 miles. Ellsworth is just 5 miles away with shopping, restaurants, Shaws grocery store, LL Bean Outlet, Renys and more. There is hiking, swimming, antiquing, and more in the area with plenty of maps and brochures at the house.

The Joys of Jellison Cove

What a little piece of heaven this place is! The interior of the home is beautiful with an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living areas and large windows overlooking the pine trees and Jellison Cove. We loved the view from inside in the comfy chairs, as well as from the two adirondack chairs overlooking the cove—listening to birds singing, loons calling, the waves and watching the sunrise. It was very happily situated. This home had a lot of wonderful amenities that we didn’t get the chance to utilize like the patio set in the screened in porch, the picnic table and fire pit, and the propane grill. Everything was well stocked. The kitchen had all sorts of pots, pans, utensils, Ziploc bags, aluminum foil, etc.. The bathrooms were well supplied with towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and toilet paper. There were extra blankets and pillows, which was nice.Truly the only thing we could think of that would improve this place is a king-size bed. We are used to a king-size, so we had a harder time adjusting to the queen.We were only about a 40-45 minute drive from Bar Harbor and hiking at Acadia. In the other direction, we were about 35 minutes from the Schoodic part of Acadia. We enjoyed dining three times at Crocker House Country Inn just an 8-minute drive from the house. Charming place with great food and friendly service.We spent 7 days in this house and could have stayed a lot longer! It was hard to leave! Definitely a gem!

Happily situated. It felt private even though there were neighbors on either side. We could hardly tell they were there.
Nice open floor plan with big beautiful windows that show off the view. Each window also had a shade we could pull for privacy, which was a thoughtful touch.

Perfect For Couples

The ocean view with the lush tall trees was so amazing. It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge chairs by the water and using the fire pit. The house itself is lovely and well maintained. We were totally happy with our decision to stay there.

Great views

Great stay, especially for the price. Absolutely beautiful view of the bay and very little light pollution. However the indoor fireplace was broken which was something we specifically chose the vrbo for, and there is mold behind the toilet attached to the primary bedroom. Be warned that the tap water is also pretty salty well water, so we bought our own. The shower is also a bit small. Overall, pretty clean, great location, great views, comfortable bed, and I'd stay here again.

Perfect Cottage

This was the best place to stay for us while visiting the Acadia National Park region. It was perfect for 2 adults and had everything we needed. It is on a quiet cove with fantastic views of the harbor. We loved having our coffee down by the water's edge in the mornings. We saw 2 bald eagles right on our little beach! My favorite part of the whole stay was probably the stargazing. There are 2 beach loungers just outside the back door that were perfect for staring at the sky. I have never seen starts so bright and clear! A very romantic lovely cottage! Just perfect!

Lovely Maine Cottage

Cottage is in a lovely, quiet, peaceful location...within a short drive to Acadia National Park. (Both the main park and the Schoodic Peninsula section of the Park. ) Absolutely breathtaking views from the large windows of the cottage. Cottage is very well maintained and well decorated for a perfect stay. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking necessities but there are also several excellent restaurants located in nearby towns. It was a perfect relaxing getaway. And our first trip to Maine and hopefully not our last!

Perfect cottage!

My husband and I absolutely loved Couples Cove! It was the perfect place to land each night after exploring Acadia and surrounding area. Extremely quiet, amazing view, super clean and cozy. Would highly recommend!

A little piece of heaven

The home was perfect for two people, spotlessly clean and well stocked. Lots of outdoor seating, which we loved. The view was incredible, and we enjoyed a gorgeous sunrise every morning. We also had two eagles in our backyard, and we spotted a couple of seals as well. Close to Acadia and great local restaurants. Hard to say good-bye to such a beautiful and serene spot!

Perfect Maine Retreat

Couples Cove was perfect in every way. The setting was just too beautiful for words. We enjoyed wonderful sunrises, eagles soaring every day, seals, baby red fox and just Gods majestic handiwork. It was really hard for us to leave every morning b because we just wanted to stay there! . The cottage itself was just lovely
 that whole wall of windows to view the cove! Wow! It had everything we needed and had very comfortable accommodations. The notebook was very helpful. Communication was great. It truly was the perfect vacation and we feel so very blessed. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. . We have come to love lupine! The Schoodic Peninsula was our favorite part of Acadia.

Absolutely beautiful setting very much enjoyed the location. Saw seals and bald eagles at the property. Only reason it’s a 4 and not a 5 is the bed needs a new mattress and the kitchen could be better equipped with things like decent knives and a garbage can with a lid.

Beautiful views on Frenchman's Bay

This cottage in a quiet neighborhood on the bay offers beautiful views from inside with expansive windows across the front facing the bay, a screened in porch, and a patio with grill. Chairs on the waters edge on either side of the property and trees between the property lines on either side offer privacy. The property was clean, nicely maintained, with linens and dishes/pots/pans needed to cook in the well-planned kitchen with island, all facing the outside views.

Perfect Stay

This property is exactly as advertised, except they don't tell you how relaxed and renewed you will feel after a few days. From the time you arrive until you have to leave, it is where you want to be. After visiting the Acadia NP, coming home each day was a joy. Watching the sunrise from the blue chairs is the only way to start the day. The property is super clean and has all the comforts of home. Nothing is overlooked.

Amazing Cabin on the Bay

Immaculate, spacious, convenient, comfortable with spectacular sunrises!!! Very convenient to Bar Harbor but away from the crowds! Delicious dining options nearby. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for coffee & to prepare meals. The bed was very comfortable! We so enjoyed hiking & biking in Acadia then returning to relax by the bay!! We would most definitely stay here again!!! A beautiful cabin to relax & renew!

Fall vacation on the Maine Coast

Great place to stay; on the last night of our stay a bad storm came through and neighborhood lost power but property had a generator that automatically started and power entire house.
