Spacious home with stunning views of the Keweenaw Waterway! Located at the end of a quiet road yet close to so many major attractions! Michigan Technological University, Historic downtown Houghton & Hancock, Ripley Ski Hill, Michigan Tech ski and hiking trails, Quincy Mine, Snowmobile Trails, different beaches and much more! Copper Harbor and Mount Bohemia are only 45 minutes from us! Brew a cup of coffee or tea and hangout on the beautiful deck overlooking the bridge with unobstructed views through the glass railing. 😊 Relax and unwind by being screen-free here. All bedding, including comforters, are washed between stays.

Beautiful rental. Great kitchen. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, bring some larger pans. Otherwise the kitchen has a good amount of common items. Very clean. Beds are comfortable. So much space! Very friendly and responsive host.

The house is in a charming and beautiful location up on the hill in Hancock, MI with a fantastic view across the canal. Very clean facilities had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Highlight of this house is for sure the view, it is spectacular. House was comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely decorated. For clarity, the four bedrooms are all on the main floor, the 4th room is a little small/cozy and has a trundle bed. It worked perfect for us (no issues) but I wasn’t totally expecting that. We really enjoyed our time there and would love to stay again

Large comfortable home on hill with fantastic view

Three old couples who are high school friends from Florida shared this large well-maintained home that is situated high in the treetops overlooking the town of Houghton. Comfortable inside and out on the deck. Great restaurants and lots of copper mining attractions nearby. People were fantastic wherever we went. Property manager was a gem, emailing after we checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Stayed a calendar week and wish it had been two weeks. Worth the money and hope we get to come back sometime.

Stunning views and comfy environment

Loved our stay here, couldn’t have asked for a better experience for a weekend getaway. Plenty of actual beds that were very comfy. The views alone made it this property amazing. Lots of space sprawl out, didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Check in was simple and quick, as was checking out. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway for the family this is the place for you!

Great location and views!

The property was clean, bright and easy to access. The views from the property were stunning and even better from the deck.Overall this is a very well maintained property with plenty of space to move around and room for parking. Very close to houghton, hiking and the rest of the Keweenaw.

Great House

We stayed here for my Son's state's Hockey tournament. It was a great house with lots of open spaces for ease of movement to cook and talk. The view was spectacular and it was so much fun to watch the snow storm role in. This house is atop a steep hill so thank goodness my husband had a truck to make sure we could go up and down with the snowfall. The roads got plowed everyday before we left and it was fine. There are no TVs so we had fun playing some card games we brought!

Amazing house, great location, fantastic views

This place is awesome for larger groups. We came to ski and sightsee in the Keweenaw. This was a return trip the Canal View house and we look forward to returning in the future.Everything about the accommodations is as good as you could ever hope to find. There are relaxing social spaces, sweeping views, a perfectly stocked kitchen, and plenty of sleeping space.If you are looking for a very nice place at a great price, this is the one to book! Thanks for the stay!

Baja Weekend

We came up to see my son compete in the Blizzard Baja Race through MTU. We had a wonderful time, the house was clean and well appointed and the the views are amazing. We would highly recommend for any traveling to Houghton/Hancock!

Great view, nice place

Super nice place with plenty of room for a group of 8. The view is outstanding. Could have used a few more utensils ( more forks and a snow shovel). There is no TV so Thanksgiving football was difficult.
