It's hard to fret over frustrations when you're swinging on the front porch or snuggled up in the reading nook, and easy to enjoy the company of those you love when you're wandering among the waterfalls nearby. At Hygge Hus [hoos], we believe finding happiness should be as easy as adding another log to the fire.

Hygge Hus is designed to make your days simpler. To shift your focus to the present moment and all it offers—whether that’s laughter and a warm meal with those you love most, or quiet reflection as you listen to the sounds of the nearby stream flowing through the forest.

With tall windows, warm wood accents, and an open concept design, the gathering area brings the spirit of the outdoors in. The forest will be your backdrop as you gather for spontaneous smorgasbords in the dining area, whip up hearty breakfasts in a fully equipped kitchen, or plan the day’s adventures in the cozy living space.

Hygge Hus now offer's WiFi via Starlink Satellite Internet. Netflix is provided for your streaming pleasure as well as a collection of over 300 top blockbuster movies, music concerts and musicals from the past 50+ years. That, and a selection of best-selling books and board games plus an old-school Nintendo Wii system with your yesteryear favorites, like Rock Band and Mario Kart.

Venture outside and delight in your own private wooded wonderland. Toast marshmallows around the firepit, fire up the grill and share a BBQ meal at the picnic table, or steal away for a stroll just across the street to the Big Branch Stream.

We do have 2 Ring doorbells installed on the exterior of both entrances to the house. Ring doorbells record both sound and video with the presence of any motion.

We do not have any recording devices anywhere on the inside of the cabin.
