This property was spectacular. We loved the fenced in yard for the dog and the house is so quaint. Lots of space and quiet neighborhood. Definitely would recommend!

By far the best place we’ve ever stayed at. Fenced in yard was huge bonus for pet while enjoying the very nicely updated & decorated home. Comfortable bed! Great communication. Definitely will be back!

The property was close to the Spooky Nook Complex which was convenient for our travel. As mentioned in other reviews the stairs to the upper level had narrow steps so caution was needed. The hosts were amazing with communication and promptness and helped us when we accidentally left an item in the home. I would recommend this home.

Great place for you to stay for Miami graduation

Great place only 20 mins out of oxford. Clean with everything you need to cook, eat, and sleep. Great food nearby in Oxford.

Great stay!

Recently updated, clean, roomy home allowed us to have a nice relaxing visit with our daughter who attends Miami U. Owner responded immediately to my messages and took care of questions/issues right away. Great location not too far from Oxford and super close to restaurants, etc in downtown Hamilton.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, well equipped house for a quick weekend away for our 12 year olds volleyball tournament. It’s location was perfect and we would definitely stay here again!

Nice area, lots of space

It is a short walk from Main Street with lots of shops and restaurants. The stairs are steep so people with mobility issues should be careful. It is very clean and spacious. The owners were great to deal with. No issues for us. We would definitely stay here again

Miami University Parent weekend

Overall, the property was very clean and organized. Beds were comfortable. Easily accessible from Miami University. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. The stairs going upstairs are very steep and the second floor elevations are a little weird but doable. The only negative was that the neighbors were very noisy as others also mentioned.

Hockey weekend trip

House fit our group well and distance from Miami of OH was manageable. Neighbors were a bit loud at early hours of the morning. Careful on the stairs- steep and one step shorter than another. Owner very prompt in response to minor water issue that didn’t affect our overall stay. Enjoyed the accommodations:)

The kitchen had most of the basics, but it did not have some minor items needed for cooking - no lsrge casserole dish, no second rack in oven, for example.Stairs were steep and a little slippery. My daughter slipped down a few stairs.Everything else was very good!

Great stay!

The yard is not fully fenced so if anyone is traveling with pets they will need to be watched unless they are not adventurous and go in bushes and brush. As another traveler stated, the neighbors like to party and thankfully it did not bother us too much. They were nice and we need NOT ask them to keep it down since it was the weekend and followed noise ordinance. Overall, the property itself was great. Much bigger than expected and the property was well stocked. If we visit the area again this property will definitely be on our list if it’s available.

Trip to Cincy!

Property was good as described!! Comfortable place to stay!! neighbors that the driveway is shared with were wonderful! Only thing is the upstairs gets fairly warm to our likes for sleeping! Downstairs was nice and cool, the AC system just couldn't get it very cool upstairs, except for the one room that had a window unit.The thermostat was controlled remotely i believe by the owners!!

Nice rehabbed little old house

Good location with 2 off street parking spots. House is in decent shape and the host was very responsive. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and both bathrooms were nice. Stairs were very steep and thin but worked ok for us. The only challenge we had was the temperature upstairs as the A/C was mainly cooling downstairs, The master with the King bed was hard to cool with the window A/C in the middle room.

Friend vacation

We enjoyed staying at the house and would again. The only issue we had is with the floors. Every time we walked around barefoot, our feet turned black. The infant we had would have black legs after crawling around on the floor. I don’t know if it was a residue from the mopping but it definitely needs to be addressed. Other than that issue, the house was perfect for our vacation!

We were very pleased with the house, entry and exit were very easy! The house was clean and tidy and there was plenty of room to park two trucks. The only down side was that the neighbors were not very respectful late at night with revving car engines at 3:00am and some drunken shouting at the same time. That in no way was our hosts fault. Couple things that could be addressed inside was a light over the sink, another on over the coffee area and the light over the stove did not work. We hope as guests we left the house in good order, we did use the vacuum provided to clean the carpet under the dinning room table and the Livingroom. All in all it was a good place to stay, it was convenient to the wedding we attended and lots of restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again. Thank You!!

Very Clean Home

When we first drove up we were a little skeptical. The house is older and there is a shared driveway. Don’t let either of those things deceive you. This house was SUPER clean! The kitchen has been modernized and is well stocked (never did we expect to find a hand mixer, but glad it was there). The kitchen items were good quality. There were plenty of towels, sheets blankets, etc. The house is an older home but they supplied heaters in every room in case they were needed. We only needed the one in the family room. The beds were comfortable and so were the futons (actually the most comfortable futon I have ever slept on). The shared driveway is not an issue. Is is very big and the neighbors are very considerate. Nice fenced in yard is a plus. I would definitely recommend this property.

The a accommodations were fine. Great dining space, nicely appointed kitchen. Convenient to have the extra bath downstairs. However the situation with the stairs (couple reviews had mentioned) were very dangerous. Steps were uneven and the landing was literally right in front of bedroom doors. I was very worried about using the bathroom at night so literally had to leave numerous lights on. While I didn’t mind the shared driveway with the neaighbor, he did have many comings and goings but the neighborhood is quite noisy. It’s a charming house quirks and all but we didn’t sleep much! Lastly we couldn’t control the heat from the wifi controlled thermostat on first floor so the house was chilly. Trying not to be negative and we appreciate the hostesses efforts but knowing these things may help future renters!
