Custom Guest House Near Bigwood River For Seasonal Rentals

What a cool house in a great setting! This custom-designed and built guest house is located near the Bigwood River (about 200 yards through the woods, a 5 minute stroll), about 1 mile north of Hailey’s shopping and dining, and is a short 10 mile drive to the world-class mountain town communities of Ketchum and Sun Valley, and it could be a special property for you to enjoy vacation time in the Wood River Valley of Central Idaho.

The home is all on one level (no stairs!) and the architecture is really cool with super high ceilings and lots of tall windows so that the surrounding outdoors seem to come inside. Centered around the living/dining common area with a big wall-mounted TV, wood-burning stove, sofa sleeper couch, and dining seating for 4, the home is cozy and comfortable with radiant floor heat throughout and lots of great natural light. The efficient kitchen with a 4 burner gas range/oven and brand new fridge/freezer has plenty of cooking and dining pots and pans and dishes, (most) all that you'll need for cooking a lot or a little. And, glass doors from the living area lead out to a large outdoor paver patio with handy patio furnishings and a gas BBQ and then a large lawn area surrounds the patio and separates the guest house from the "main" house on the property that is enjoyed by its owners off-and-on throughout the year. This is great outdoor space to enjoy!

Here is a quick review of the beds and sleeping areas in the property:

– The master bedroom suite is accessed off the living/dining area and it has a KING bed, a working desk space, a glass door to that great outdoor patio space, and it has a full en suite bathroom with double sink vanity, commode, and large glass and tile shower;
– The 2nd bedroom is also accessed off of the living/dining area and it has (2) TWIN beds -- that can be bridged together into a KING bed (yes, we have all of the appropriate bedding to make the beds up as twins or a king) -- another glass door to the outdoor patio area, and another full en suite bathroom with double sink vanity, commode, and a normal tub/shower;
– In the living room, there is a SOFA SLEEPER bed;
– To review, (1) king bed, (2) twin beds – that can be bridged into a king bed, and (1) sofa sleeper 
 that can accommodate up to a total of 5 people.

And there is more! The property has an attached single car garage and a cold room entry area with the main access to the home being through the garage and cold entry. Just off of the cold entry, the home has a laundry room with full-sized, heavy-duty clothes washer and dryer . . . and accessed through that laundry room is a large private hot tub -- it is in an enclosed room that has two large wooden sliding "barn" doors that when opened, the tub is effectively outside with the peaceful and private woods at the edge of the tub. Nice!

Located about a mile from the north end of Hailey, this guest house is just minutes from Hailey's ample and quality shopping and dining and just 10 miles from the resort communities of Ketchum and Sun Valley with even better shopping and dining and entertainment! And, the wilderness of Central Idaho is all around, providing seemingly endless opportunities for outdoor adventure in all of the seasons throughout the year!
