Located in the heart of guttenberg this 1000 sq ft 2 bed 1 bath home is 3 blocks from the river. Extensively insulated and remodeled. Central air, Fully furnished, WiFi, washer and dryer, bean bag boards, outside patio, outdoor covered area with tv, fire pit and grill. There is a golden tee arcade game for kids and adults to enjoy! Living room has seating for 6, master has a pillow top queen bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 pillow top twin beds. Roku TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Plenty of Parking outside for at least 3 trucks with trailers with an outdoor water hose for cleaning your boat off. This home will not disappoint!

this is our second time staying at this location and it’s very well maintained and managed. It is close to the train track, but I slept through the night like a baby and it didn’t bother me at all. It’s actually quite fun if you like trains. Definitely coming again!

Everything was great and consistent with what was advertised. Home was spacious and clean, very comfortable! Easy check-in, close enough to walk down to the river, and nice outside set-up. If ever in the area again would definitely stay again!

Second Time Stay

This property is awesome. It was our second time here and it was just as great as the first time a few years ago. The depot has everything one would need. It is well appointed, clean and close to so many parks and nature preserves, which is what we love about the Guttenburg area.The depot has 3 TVs and soon, will have a 4th in the patio area. It has a washer and dryer, a well appointed kitchen, a large bathroom and two nice size bedrooms. Just a note, there is no dishwasher-not a problem for me. Also, bring your own hair dryer if you need one. Otherwise, it has everything! Bar-b-cue tools, games, DVD movies, even a video golf game on the porch. Guttenburg itself has a lot to see, especially where the barges travel the Mississippi. Even Dubuque is close enough or a visit.Jeff Pregler is great to work with and is quick to answer a text. He keeps the rental price reasonable and the propery in great condition.If you are going hiking, fishing, or just sight seeing in this area, "The Depot" should be your choice.But remember, you must like trains! I do.what we love to visit

Very Good Choice for a Guttenberg Stay

The property was very clean and stocked with the necessities! Our stay was very comfortable. We have stayed at many rentals in Guttenberg and this has been the cleanest thus far! We would stay again and recommend.

Enjoyed our stay at “The Depot”

We love Guttenburg but this particular trip was for a fishing tournament for our boys. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s in a great location only 3-4 minutes to the river whether you’re using the main boat ramp or the north boat ramp, close to the grocery store, gas stations, restaurants and downtown.. the beds were comfy as was the furniture. No complaints about anything. Some have mentioned the trains which didn’t bother us. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for a great stay!
