Welcome to Palazzo Marzino (Vacation Rental License #LIC23-0197).

This Italian-inspired villa features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, offering an epic experience in wine country. After driving up the steep incline of Summit Avenue, you will be greeted by incredible views of the Russian River Valley and a modern-day castle filled with globally sourced art.
Arrival and Entry:
Once inside the iron gate, descend the garden stairs to the large wooden front door. The key is located in a lockbox to the right of the doorway (code provided separately). If you are arriving in a Tesla, a charger is available in the garage.
Living Spaces:
The 2,400 sq. ft. home is spread across two levels. The upper level includes a central living area, a dining area, a full bathroom, and a kitchen with its own deck overlooking the river valley. The lower level features a sitting room that opens to the rear patio, outdoor dining area, and pool.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
All bedrooms are located on the lower level:
- Primary Suite: King-size bed with an ensuite full bath (shower). - Russian River View Room: Queen-size bed with panoramic views. - Private Bedroom: Queen-size bed located at the back of the house. - Hallway Bath: Full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. - Upper Level Bath: Additional bathroom with a shower.
Amenities
- Pool & Hot Tub:
The pool is open year-round and is solar-heated from May to October (weather dependent, typically 76 degrees). Please use caution near the steep drop-off at the pool terrace. A hot tub with forest views is also located on the lower deck.
-Climate Control: Central heat, air conditioning, and five gas fireplaces.
- Kitchen & Laundry: Full kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher, and ice maker. A washer and dryer are located in the garage.
- Technology: Wi-Fi, landline, and five TVs with cable/streaming capabilities.
- Linens: One set of bath towels and one pool towel are provided per person. Please bring your own beach towels and toiletries.

Property Policies
- Supervision: Due to the fine art and materials throughout the home, children under 10 must be supervised at all times.
- Safety: Door chimes are installed per county law for pool awareness. An exterior camera monitors the driveway only.
- Parking: Off-street parking is available for two cars.
- Pets: Sorry, no pets are allowed.

- No outdoor amplified sound or music is permitted at any time.

The home was beautiful and fun. We loved hanging out in the vaulted living room and enjoyed the hot tub. This was a wonderful place to stay but I do recommend having a car with you. It was a bit challenging to get rides into town. Overall would stay again!

It was by far one of the best vacation we have had in a VRBO property. The house is magical - artfully decorated and maintained. We traveled with my aging parents and was initially concerned with the steps but I had nothing to worry. They were easy to climb up and down and the hot tub was a great addition. Beautiful gem of house tuck away in the hills. It was very spacious, very clean. We loved all the artwork and design that went into the place - truly amazing.The garage was an added plus and kept our car clean during some storm time. This gorgeous house was well stoked and more beautiful decorated than you’d expect for a vacation rental. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and wanted to cook all our meals and we enjoyed the space and all the puzzles and games. The hill getting there is tricky and I’d be a little nervous o go here if you want to go out and experience a lot of the night life but for our purposes it was perfect.

There were several areas that could be improved. 1. Appliances in the kitchen were not very clean. The blender needed to be scrubbed clean before using. The same with the juicer that was in the pantry also parts were missing. Most of the items we used that need cleaning were in the pantry. The stove, oven microwave were fine.2. It would be nice to have a dresser in the guest bedrooms particularly the bedroom facing the Russian River. It hard to live out of a suit case for a week.3. The step ladder provided was not ideal for getting in and out of bed. A child step or two would be better4. The bathroom for the guest bedrooms is unique. The counter space was great but the tub/shower could use a little work as there was paint peeling along the base boards and the glass was not the cleanest. We used the upstairs shower for the extent of the stay. The sink in that room drains slowly.5. There were several areas where maintenance was needed. a. The kitchen door leading to the small patio did not function properly b. The screen in the guest bedroom facing the Russian River is bent and does not close properly c. The big brown chairs in the room just off the kitchen has ripped areas behind the back cushions. 6. We did not use the hot tub or swimming pool 7. The architecture, interior design and views are spectacular. We enjoyed the kitchen area and great room. In addition, it is close to many places.

The property was very clean and well maintained. A very well stocked kitchen with some spices and other cooking necessities, which was great. The best part of the property are of course the views, pool and hot tub. It’s magical- we never felt the need to leave the house. Air conditioning in the upper floor was great since the house gets hot in the day. The downstairs stayed really pleasant. We would definitely come again!

Our party of 4 had a wonderful get-a-way - we loved being up in the trees with the birds! We practiced yoga on the patio, swam in the pool, gathered in the hot tub, ate in the kitchen, and on the veranda and in the dining room - it was all so inviting! We rented kayaks at Johnson's beach one day and hiked at Armstrong on the other. I have a personal goal of returning to this house!!!

It was FANTASTIC - the views are even better than the photos let off. All the beds were clean and the atmosphere was incredible. This is definitely a place I would like to stay again and for a longer time!-Only note for people staying is make sure your car can clear the dip if you want garage parking. We were in a super low car (Mustang) and it would not make it in garage, but the area feels extremely safe and we didn't worry 1 bit.

What a wonderful house. The floor plan is a little wild when you first see it, but it works perfectly. It was close to the river, the redwood park, and the beach. Just perfect! I would come again and stay in the beautiful house!

Beautiful stay in a perfect location

We had a group of three couples in our late 30's who needed a place to relax and use as a homebase while exploring the region. This house was perfect! The view was breath-takingly stunning, and we were lucky enough to utilize the pool because the weather was so lovely. The hot tub was wonderful, and we used it several times. There were seat options to eat for six, and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. We were sad to leave and would absolutely stay again! The convenience to Safeway was also a plus.
