We had a relaxing stay with our family. Paulina was very responsive and accommodating. The open-concept kitchen was our favorite—spacious, well stocked, and perfect for making meals together.The only suggestion would be to update some of the furniture. The kitchen table chair cushions felt unstable, the couch was quite firm, and the mattresses (except for the king bed) were very firm according to several family members.Overall, it was a good stay and we enjoyed our time as a family.

Overall good stay

We had a great stay overall. The house is comfortable and mostly well equipped. The layout is great and accommodated our family of four very comfortably. We didn't have to communicate with the host during our stay with the exception of the check-in process because the owner was still onsite when we arrived. We inquired about extra trash bins knowing we may generate a good amount of trash during our week-long stay, and the extra bins were promptly dropped off the next day. All the major appliances worked great - dishwasher, fridge, washer/dryer, and most importantly A/C. There is no hot tub at the house but it's not anything we cared about.There were just a few negatives we noted during our stay:- The house could us a professional deep cleaning, including vents. There was a lingering smell that we couldn't air out no matter how much we kept the windows open. There are spider webs throughout. And some of the provided bedding was stained (luckily we always bring our own).- Master bath needs additional hanging hooks/racks. The single towel bar that's there is not enough for two people to hang two bath towels and two hand towels.- The Wi-Fi was very slow (under 2 Mbps download speed). It wasn't possible to be on conference/video calls (important for anyone planning to work remotely during their stay). The streaming services on TV kept buffering.

Family trip to Yosemite

Place was great and very clean. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The only downside was there was construction in Pine Mtn Lake when we were there 6/6-6/8 and it was very disruptive. They would stop traffic multiple times between the house and the front gate. Sunday when we were leaving, it took us 40 minutes to get from the house to the front gate. Communication with owner was good and she was very reaponsive and helpful when I realized failed to her that we were bring an extra car and my son got stuck at the front gate. It was 9:30 pm and she had it taken care of in 10 min, which was much appreciated. Would stay there again.

The house was nice and clean and the atmosphere was relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay. There were just a few things that could’ve been better. There were a total of eight and there was not enough toilet paper and not long after we started the BBQ the propane ran out in the middle of cooking.

Yosemite trip

This home is great for a family. We stayed in July which was hot so we loved the use of the lake that is only 2-3 minutes away from the house. We also loved the large open kitchen off of the spacious family room. With that being said, the kitchen cabinets were a bit dirty and could use a good cleaning. The kitchen could also use a new set of pots and pans. There were very few and they were old and the surfaces were flaking off. There was also only one extra roll of paper towel and not enough toilet paper to last our stay. The refrigerator temp was also off. It didn’t feel cold when we arrived and then proceeded to get too cold and freeze all of the groceries we brought. All of our fresh salads and fruit were ruined due to freezing. Despite these needed improvements, we had a great time.

Perfect for our trip

This is a great little house located in the hills surrounding Pine Mountain Lake. The house has a very large kitchen that could support an entire family cooking together. The deck offers great views in the mornings and evenings. I appreciated how stocked and clean the house was. This served as a base for trips into Yosemite Valley. For that it was perfect. There were plenty of local options for food and groceries. I was also happy to see that there was air conditioning as the weather was pretty warm outside. A couple of minor gripes but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. -Mattresses were uncomfortable for my taste. In one room it appears to be a futon mattress on a bed frame. -Wifi connection was good using 2.4 gHz but the internet was extremely slow. Almost unusable. -The driveway is very steep! Something that should be disclosed in case there are older people staying in the home. It could be a challenge to park with a longer vehicle. This seems to be the norm for the area.

There’s a very steep (about 35 degree angle) driveway and then a steep 19 step staircase to get into the house. The barbeques- the propane tank was almost empty, have to go fill up in the middle of preparing food.

Lots of space in this house

All the rooms were very large! The couch in the living room was comfortable and big enough for all 5 of us to watch tv in the evenings. The location was great - 30 minutes from the Yosemite entrance, I didn’t find many properties closer than that. We weren’t there long enough to make use of the beaches or other perks of the community but it looked like the area had a lot to offer. The only downside was the mattress on the bottom bunk. It looked like it was a futon mattress. The edge of the mattress had wood in it so sitting on the edge of the bed was uncomfortable. And the middle of the mattress had a big divot/seam in it which made us think maybe it belonged on a futon? My daughter said that it was uncomfortable and she didn’t get good sleep. All the other beds were fine though.

Great property - do not overlook this one!

My family and I stayed at this property for a few days in June with plans to visit Yosemite, and it was everything we hoped for. Open floor plan, all conveniences of home, quiet neighborhood, and less than an hour to the Yosemite Valley. There's a grocery market and restaurant within minutes too!

Up, up, and away

I should have known better, but I rented the property anyway. There’s a very steep (about 35 degree angle) driveway and then a steep 19 step staircase to get into the house. That’s after driving up a very steep hill. (The address of Upper Skyridge Drive should have been a giveaway, shame on me for not catching it.) I believe the driveway would be scary-dangerous in winter, so I’m happy to have been there during warm weather. Once inside, the interior is well appointed, except for a few personal preferences. I prefer two sheets on the bed, we got one sheet. I prefer to use a washcloth when bathing, none were provided. I prefer internet service that’s consistent, this one was very spotty. Internet service had to be reset each morning. I prefer cookware that is useable, compared to the scratched and damaged pots and pans that were provided. The washer-dryer worked well. The toaster and coffee maker worked, but the wrong size and type of filter is provided. The oven, stove, and dishwasher worked. I could go on but will stop there.

Is a really nice and relaxing place but there is not privacy they are checking on you with video camera all the time and there is not hot water at night time but we still having a good time

Nice clean place

Me and my husband came up with our 2 kids for a family reunion. It was a nice clean place, good open concept layout. The place looks exactly like the pictures so expectations were right in line. Thanks for letting us stay. We would be happy to rent this place again in the future.

nice property with a big backyard

We loved staying at this home. It was very clean and it has a beautiful kitchen that was well stocked. The kids loved the bunk bed and playing in the expansive backyard. The beds were comfortable and the sofa bed was a nice bonus.
