Surrounded by open fields, forest and a peaceful private lake, the farmhouse offers a quiet place to rest, explore and enjoy the beauty of the countryside. It is only two hours from Toronto, making it an ideal escape for guests who want to slow down and reconnect with nature.

The Farmhouse

Renovated with care in 2022, the farmhouse blends modern comfort with the relaxed charm of a rural home. The open concept kitchen and living area is bright and inviting, with plenty of room to gather after a day outdoors. Natural textures, soft furnishings and warm lighting create a cozy space that feels instantly comforting.

Each bedroom features linen sheets, airy bed covers and high-end towels to bring the gentle feel of a boutique countryside stay. Two full bathrooms, one on each floor, include rainfall showers and quality toiletries.

Time slows down at Huff Estates Farm. The cedar sauna offers a peaceful spot to unwind while watching the sunset across the fields. The seasonal hot tub on the deck provides another inviting place to relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings. Indoors, a cozy conversation room with comfortable seating offers a calm setting for reading, games or simply enjoying time together.

Outdoor Living and the Private Lake

The property spans 80 acres and offers complete privacy. One of its highlights is the quiet, non-motorized private lake nestled at the edge of the land. In the warmer months, guests can paddle, swim or enjoy long afternoons on the dock. A Solo Stove firepit sits beside the water, creating a wonderful spot to gather as the sun goes down.

Kayaks, a pedal boat and stand-up paddleboards are available in summer. In winter, the lake freezes and becomes an inviting frozen pond with easy access for snowy explorations. The surrounding woods transform into a peaceful winter landscape perfect for outdoor adventures.

Five kilometres of private trails wind through the forest and fields, offering space for walking, snowshoeing and discovering scenic corners of the property throughout the seasons.

Kitchen and Living Spaces

The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who enjoy cooking, complete with a farmhouse sink, large double-door fridge and a generous island. The dining area overlooks the fields and flows into the cozy living room with a large screen TV. A separate conversation room offers a quiet retreat for unplugged evenings.

Wide Open Space

Guests have full access to the lake, trails and open farmland during their stay. The wrap-around deck offers a lovely setting for outdoor dining in the warmer months. A golf cart is provided in summer for easy trips to the lake and exploring the grounds at your own pace.

The farmhouse is near the town of Flesherton, where guests will find a grocery store, LCBO, cafés, specialty food shops and inviting local restaurants. Hearts Grey County is a favourite for its welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful menu.

Guest Access and Winter Notes

Parking is located directly in front of the house and access is through a smart lock. During winter, the driveway and essential pathways are maintained, though heavy snowfall may limit access to some outdoor areas. The lakeside firepit may be unavailable during deep snow unless it is cleared.

The farmhouse offers reliable WiFi, a 65 inch television and Alexa speakers for music and entertainment. For guests who need to work during their stay, the farmhouse dining table and the quiet sunroom provide comfortable and private spaces.
