This rooms honestly felt like a boutique hotel or a fine resort. The attention to detail and customer service is amazing.
They had a very simple and friendly check in process, where we were escorted to our rooms. They showed us how to work the electronics and heating/cooling system. To our surprise while we were unloading our car, they got us ice and snacks.
The bed was wonderful, the room was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure. There were free bottles of water and snacks in the common room available as well as a fully stocked Keriâs coffee/tea station in our room.
The breakfast included in your stay is a donât miss. I am in the restaurant industry and everything was so fresh and homemade. You are served and cooked for by a professional chef. Do yourself a favor and try the French Toast! All the extras like the fresh fruit bowl, fruit juice, and maple syrup make you feel like youâre eating at a fine dining restaurant. And the chef is so humble, and is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
My husband stated at breakfast that he wished he would have brought a firmer pillow from home and by the time we got back that evening a new firm pillow had been delivered to our room.
We loved staying away from the hustle and bustle of tourists and the quiet, calm atmosphere this place provided. It is worth the drive for the breakfast alone! We will be back and are recommending them to all of our friends.
My room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The entire property looked recently refurbished and well thought out. I had everything I needed and more and the person who checked me in (Joseph) was very thorough and welcoming. The outdoor space looked great for hanging out in the summer but I came there in March. Very unique. Exceeded my expectations
I am so happy we found this gem in the desert!! We travel through Green River often and had never heard of the River Rock Inn but now we will be staying here every time. When we arrived, Joe(?) welcomed us with a tour of where everything was, such as a coffee, hot chocolate and tea bar with snacks for our enjoyment, and then explained how to work everything in our room. The room itself was perfect! The owners, Greg and Tracy, put so much thought into not only the decorations but all the necessities that made it so special. The bed was very comfortable, the room was toasty warm and the towels were thick and soft. They have told us that all the rooms are a little different so we look forward to staying in all of them.
After getting our room, we grabbed some snacks and sat outside, in the courtyard, around the fire pit. Perfect for a chilly night and a great way to end the day. They have a cute gazebo, cornhole for the grass area and beautiful plants all around. An oasis in the desert.
In the morning we went for breakfast and all I can say is...WOW!! Greg made us breakfast and it was amazing, not only how it tasted but the amount of food and the presentation. One of the best breakfast's I have had.
If you are just driving through or spending a few days hiking the parks I highly recommend The River Rock Inn. Greg and Tracy have poured their hearts into this beautiful place and when you stay here you will feel and see the love they have for it. We have fallen in love too!!
A hidden Gem between Denver and Nevada that I am glad we uncovered. We make the trip more that twice a year and I am sure this will be one of our new favorite places to stay when we need to stay over night!
Very nice B&B. Recently remodeled, so very stylish and comfortable. Staff was great and breakfast was cooked to order from a short menu; excellent! We'll stay here again.
