The grassy and forested property provides great privacy, the tree canopy and granite keep the cottage cool in summer and there's lots of open space for dogs and kids to run free safely. Star gaze or catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights from your sanctuary in the world’s first Dark Sky Reserve. Pine Lake is ideal for boating and water sports. Deep water off the dock (15ft) make perfect conditions for your best cannonball!

Nestled in the trees on the southern shores of Pine Lake, The Log House is only 12 minutes from the Muskoka Wharf Village in Gravenhurst. Enjoy the weekly Farmer's Market, boat tours, quaint shops in the village and weekly water-ski shows. Several top-ranked golf courses are less than an hours drive away. Come winter, groomed snow mobile trails can be found literally at the end of the driveway! Jack and Stella’s in Bala (a 40 minute drive) offers a coffee and pastry bar with dock and garden seating overlooking Bala Bay, plus one of a kind fashion, arts and crafts and housewares! Another great find is Lakeside Bala for fine dining right on the water. 
Hardy Lake Provincial Park in Torrance is beautiful for place for hiking about a 20 minute drive from the cottage. 
The Gravenhurst Bakery (open year- round) is famous for its Chelsea Buns and fresh fruit pies!
