The Wolf's Den At Sweet Dreams Overlook

Welcome to The Wolf's Den! Additional information, reservations, discounts, and units are available for VRBO viewers on our website SWEETDREAMSOVERLOOK. The suite includes a separate king bedroom, private sauna, shower (no tub), open concept kitchen/living room with 2 sofa sleepers that fold down into a full-size bed and a small child-size twin bed, and a smart TV with Roku and DVD Player(no cable). Dining for 5. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, and refrigerator. There are lake views from the windows and the deck, however, there is no direct lake access. It is similar in style to an apartment as it is located in the lower level of a single-family home and has a private entrance. This lovely suite was recently updated and remodeled and you'll certainly enjoy its charm, cleanliness, and convenience to amenities the North Shore and Grand Marais have to offer. The upper level is occupied by the owner who is on hand for any questions or requests. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, mixing bowls, casserole dish, coffee maker, toaster, utensils, and more. Just let us know if you need something that isn't provided! E-bikes are available to rent this summer!

It's conveniently situated just minutes away from the incredible small and culture-filled town of Grand Marais, MN, the Superior Hiking Trail, along with biking and ski trails. In addition, it is only about 30 minutes away from Lutsen Ski Resort and Superior National Golf Course. There is shopping, dining, live music/arts ...all along the shore of Lake Superior! A variety of events are scheduled throughout the year in and around Grand Marais.

Listing said it could see 5. Realistically it would be 3 3/4. There is the King bed for 2, but the fold outs could sleep one adult and one child at best. Also could hear the owners upstairs and the guests in the second unit next door.

Perfect weekend getaway

Close to downtown shops and restaurants. The sauna was a lovely touch. Beautiful Lake Superior views from the deck. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and linens for our family of four to enjoy. Host was responsive and a great communicator. Recommend for sure!

The location is just North of Grand Marais and close to many Hiking areas. Listing is accurate but a bit sparse on the comfortable living room furniture. Nice deck with lake view but unfortunately we had rain and very cool weather so were not able to enjoy it to the fullest.

We loved our stay at the Wolf's Den! The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake was the best part...just sitting there watching and listening to the waves come in was so peaceful! We will be back!

It was a very nice place to stay. I only have 3 nitpicking items; not enough signage on the road, the water was overly softened and didn't taste good/hard to wash off soap, and noise traveled easily from upstairs/next door at night.

Great deck

We enjoyed our stay. Morning breakfast and coffee on the deck were great. We sat there until noon most days. This place is very clean and well stocked. King bed very comfortable. Great access to everything in the area. Only thing missing for us were comfortable chairs to sit in instead of hard futons. Would certainly stay again.

Great location for hiking trips to the northern-most parks and trails or day trips into Canada. We really enjoyed the patio, which was nice even on the chilly, breezy, end-of-summer days. The property was basically as stated. All was fine with the exception of the couch. It needs to be replaced with one which does not hurt the back. Good location, being near, but not in, the town of Grand Marias.

Awesome place!

Every aspect of our stay was great, communication, view, close to town, close to beaches, very clean, roomy. We stayed (3 people) the first part of August in The Wolfs Den, we enjoyed chill time on the balcony in the morning with coffee and evening to relax from a busy day out. We even had a snow shoe bunny stop to visit a couple of times.
