Escape to our 1100 square foot, two storey, year round waterfront home!

**We now have high speed internet** (installed May 2023).

As you enter the home from the back deck, you will find a spacious mudroom. The back deck has a couple of chairs and a bbq. On the main floor, you will find a 3 piece bathroom (stand up shower, toilet & sink), the washer & dryer are located in this bathroom as well. The washing machine is pre-loaded with detergent for your convenience. Next you will see the fully appointed kitchen, with a dining table looking out to the lakefront view. There is a Keurig coffee machine, with basic coffee & tea pods provided. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room, which has two cozy couches and smart tv. The front deck is the best place to enjoy! Please enjoy the fire pit in the front yard as you watch the sunset over the water. This is a year round home with central air conditioning and an electric furnace.

Upstairs there is a spacious and inviting loft with another smart tv. The grey sofa converts into a small sofa bed for a guest or child. Linen & extra pillows are provided. The loft area leads to the master bedroom and upstairs bathroom. In the bathroom you will find a lovely soaker tub, toilet and sink. The windows in the master bedroom & the balcony that leads off the room offer the best views! In this room there is a king size bed.

Come enjoy a week, a month or a full season!

Please note; there is a steep drop off when approaching the water. There is no fence or barricade. There is a path that leads down to the beach in front of our home - it is down the road. Exiting on to Grand Marais blvd, take a right and at the intersection of Grand Marais blvd & Oak ave, the path will be on your right.

Please also note; the fireplace is not currently functional, we apologize.

Songbird Retreat

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a full week (second year in a row) in this wonderful lakeside Grand Marais cottage. Besides the very comfortable and spacious cottage, the stunning views, songbirds, bird and sunset watching, it's proximity to Grand Beach made our visit once again perfect, relaxing and memorable.

So Relaxing

The cottage is delightful with some whimsical decor coupled with comfortable new furnishings. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the sunsets from the decks are spectacular.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Marais cottage. The view was spectacular and we were well entertained by the constant parade of wrens, gulls and eagles as well as the sunsets.

Paradise

We were in Paradise for 3 nights. We saw the perfect sunset from our balcony. We found out at night how quiet our bedroom became and slept like babies. There was only one hiccup. A can opener. There is no can opener so if you bring anything in a can that does not have a zip lock lid then you are out of luck.

Beautiful View

Lovely property right on the water, with an amazing view. Enjoyed lounging on the deck, listening to the sounds of the waves and watching the amazing sunset over the lake. The kitchen was well appointed (everything you need for meal prep and service), the bed and pillows were super comfortable, and everything was super clean. Would definitely recommend, and would revisit again!!

Grand Marias Getaway

sunset and soft grass under your feet, were stellar. We enjoyed the quick drive to the beach. Stopped for shopping and ice cream down the street. the hot air balloon light was the centre piece and the main highlight of the room. Including me hitting my head on it on occasion ;) weather was nice and the skies were pretty, we had one beach day but the sunset the next day made up for it.

Cottage on Lake Winnipeg - incredible!

We had a wonderful week stay. The location was incredible and the cottage was all that was advertised. We missed a little not having WiFi but used our phone hotspots to keep in touch with the world. The views were awesome - sunsets especially were spectacular! It was quiet, close to the beach and perfect for walks and relaxing. Highly recommended!!
