Located in the scenic neighborhood of Happy Bay in French Saint Martin, Blue Sailing sits on the hillside with a superb vista of the Caribbean, the popular beach of Friar’s Bay and its promontory on one side, and the beautiful pristine beach of Happy Bay below.This lovely two-story home offers three equal bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private pool, and a spacious upper floor terrace overlooking the sea.Built into the hillside the main entrance opens into the upper level comprising a stylish open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, a living/dining area, and a spacious covered terrace running the length of the house. The views from the terrace are stunning of the sea and the westerly orientation offers beautiful sunsets that can be fully appreciated from the covered outdoor lounge and dining area.Below, the ground floor has a sunny deck area around the pool with chic yellow loungers and a poolside gazebo with double daybeds for relaxing in the shade. The deck is bordered with lush tropical foliage and a neat hedge in front that perfectly frames the azure view of the sea.The bedrooms feature color schemes of sky blue, eau de nil, and warm orange with king-size beds and each bedroom has a TV and its own bathroom with an open shower and his & her sinks. Two bedrooms are situated on the lower level and directly access the pool terrace and the third is housed on the upper entrance level.Blue Sailing is within walking distance to both Friar’s Bay with its two popular beach restaurants and the natural scenic beauty of Happy Bay. A short car ride brings you to the village of Grand Case and its beachfront gourmet restaurants and the popular beach of Orient Bay is just a 15-minute drive away.
P​lease note that at the beginning of March each year there is an Electronic Music Festival (SXM Music Festival) on Happy Bay beach. There will be loud noise pollution during this time. Check the dates of the festival prior to booking if this is not something you're looking for in your St. Martin vacation experience.
