Walk out ski access and a private hot tub makes this three-bedroom condo a spectacular place for your next vacation! The fully-equipped kitchen makes preparing your favorite meals a breeze. Then relax after a day of adventure in the comfy living room with a gas fireplace. Turn in the flatscreen TV, fix yourself some snacks, and enjoy an entertaining afternoon with your friends. The couch in the living room pulls out into a twin sofa bed.

Off of the living room, you will find the main bedroom, which boasts a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Adjacent to the living room and the main bedroom is a private hot tub to soak away the day’s adventures. A second bedroom is on the main level offering another queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two queen beds and a lofted living space with a twin sofa sleeper. The third bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and living area.

Outdoor grills, free WiFi, ski lockers, coin-operated laundry, seasonal outdoor pool, and tennis courts make this the perfect location for your next mountain getaway. Mountainside offers close access to plenty of outdoor activities such as fishing, skiing, biking, and golfing. Mountainside is centrally located in Grand County and is an ideal launching point for all the recreational activities in our area; Winter Park Ski Area, Rocky Mountain National Park, Hot Sulphur Springs, Lake Granby, and Arapaho National Forest are all within a 30-minute drive.

We enjoyed being able to walk a short distance and ski in/out. We also enjoyed having our own hot tub indoors. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We would have liked to have washcloths and kleenexes furnished. There was not an overabundance of dishwasher pods or toilet paper. Overall a great place to stay, but could use a little maintainence.

The location of our condo was perfect for watching our group ski from the livingroom.I would like to recommend that you make sure the check in information clearly states the appropriate unit number and door code.There was major confusion for us when checking in which caused us a great deal of time and extra work as we had unloaded our luggage at the wrong unit.Also the description of the condo was misleading about there being a washer and dryer in the unit. It would not have been a huge problem but I didn’t pack enough clothes for the trip because I thought I could wash clothes.

Good but needs investment

Great ski-in ski-out location overlooking the mountain. Reasonably short, but inclined, walk down to or up from the base area (or 2 minute drive).The condo itself could really use some investment though, probably the reason it had a lower cost than most other comparable options. The beds, toilets, hot tub, window screens, blinds, etc were low quality, missing, poorly functioning, or broken. Nothing was really problematic though and the kitchen was certainly an exception, not complaints there.It also wasn't obvious to me how to check in as I never received instructions. I was eventually able to figure it out though, before the owner got back to a couple messages I had sent.

Amenities listed not accurate

Condo was large and plenty of space. Pretty clean. Dusty but kitchen and bathrooms were clean. We chose this unit because the listing showed a private hot tub and washer/dryer. The hot tub wasn’t useable because there was way too much chlorine in it. We started itching and eyes burning after a few minutes. We weren’t able to turn the jets on at all because we would immediately start coughing. Had to open the window to air out the chlorine smell. Washer and dryer are not in the unit but down two floors. When I went to do laundry there is no change machine. Where do you find quarters at 6:30 in the evening before your flight the next day? The blind in the bedroom was on floor so we couldn’t change clothes in the room because it was next to the “ski in/ski out” path and people could see in as they walked by. Nice but amenities we wanted weren’t as described and maintenance could be better.

Great ski-in/ski-out location at Granby Ranch

Condo was next to main slope, offering great views of our skiers. Enough space for everyone. Issues were addressed immediately. Only negatives: sofa beds need to be replaced; kids slept on cushions after the first night. And while a hot tub in the bedroom seems cool, the cycling on and off of the heater and the heat it gives off didn't make for a great night's sleep.

Grandby Ranch Mountainside 120

The VRBO ad does not represent the property in that it is much darker and is generally in need of an update. We found hair on the pillows in one bedroom a bug in the bed. The carpet by the jacuzzi was damp. There was no one in the office by the time we arrived and we could not get hold of anyone on the customer phone number supplied. We we able to respond to someone on email on Tuesday evening and I was called on Wednesday morning. We asked to be moved to another unit but was refused. They did change the bedding on Wednesday but my family had moved to my sons condo. I found the bathrooms to be very small and in need of updating, particularly the showers, which were small and old with the grouting dingy and old. The door to the deck would not lock, thus the condo was not totally secure. The deck is elevated but a ladder could reach the deck from the ground. In my opinion the carpet is also in need of replacement. With some work this could be an excellent condo but I do not think it is fairly represented in the advertisement.

First night. the outside lights did not turn on until well after dark. trying to get into the condo was a little tough. Thermostats did not seem to work in the individual rooms. that's why they had, individual heaters in the rooms. everything else was perfect.
