Wake up from your new, firm, queen size bed early enough to catch the beautiful sunrise at Good Harbor beach! (Only a 5 minute walk away!) On your way back to the house, grab a coffee & danish at Cape Ann Coffees (just across the street) or head next-door for a full size breakfast at Charlie’s. Enjoy take out on the private outdoor patio or inside at the large kitchen island.

The brand new, stylish kitchen offers all the basics you’ll need. The island is large enough to host 6 comfortably and will likely be where you entertain when you’re not outside.

The home is tastefully decorated with warm, earthy tones and a relaxing feel. With a large bay window in the living room and oversized slider in the kitchen, it almost feels like you’re outside!

For all the beach lovers; we provide an umbrella, beach chairs, beach bag, towels, cooler and beach wagon. After a long day in the sun, treat yourself to a delicious ice cream from Good Harbor Ice Cream just steps from the house! Then, rinse off in the private outdoor shower before dinner.

With Stop & Shop across the street and two more grocery stores nearby, you can cook up dinner in the kitchen or on the grille outside. If you’re too relaxed to cook, Gloucester center is only a five minute drive away and has an excellent selection of restaurants, bars & nightlife!

Unwind after dinner on the comfortable, sectional sofa. Close the curtains and stream your favorite show or movie on the 65” flatscreen TV before turning in after an ideal vacation day!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was immaculate and incredibly cozy, equipped with everything we needed and more. There was plenty of parking in the driveway, enough for several cars and the location was perfect. We loved being able to walk to a local coffee shop, market, and other nearby spots. The beds were super comfortable, and the heat worked great on chilly evenings. It was perfect for my husband, me, and our two kids (ages 6 and 7). We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful trip to Massachusetts! The description on VRBO was spot on. Even prettier in person. It was a beautifully decorated home and met all of our needs especially the kitchen. It was very close to Salem so easy to go back-and-forth. Love that there is a commuter train. You can take into Salem or Boston or surrounding areas.

We walked into a wonderful home that was clean and homie. Every detail from the clean, classic fall decorations, to the snacks and other items left for us to use (laundry soap, dish washer pods and a gift card for some coffee from the shop just across the street). The house was hust a small walk to a grocery store and the beach. The owners are very thoughtful and easy to reach with any questions. We loved our stay! Thank you for having us in your home away from home!

House is in fantastic shape and in a very central location. They have every thing needed for a comfortable stay and being able to wash clothes in the washer and dryer is a huge plus. Beds were super comfortable and the outside patio was comfortable and had a corn hole set up. They also provided snacks that our grandkids enjoyed. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are up this way.

Sparkling clean!

This was by far the cleanest rental we’ve stayed at. The kitchen is amazing, well organized & fully stocked. Beds are comfortable & furniture & decor are clean and absolutely stunning. Although the home is on a major street, traffic noise is minimal inside. 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach as well as a terrific coffee shop & grocery store across the street were a plus for us. The owners were very responsive & accommodating. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone visiting Gloucester!

Bungalow perfection

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) had the most wonderful, relaxing long weekend getaway here at the Bass Ave Bungalow. The property is clean, adorably decorated/furnished, has a peaceful, open vibe, including a lovely bright kitchen, and huge cozy sectional for lounging, reading, and our favorite- family game time. The beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and we absolutely loved the quaint side yard and cornhole set! We also took full advantage of the convenient location, walking distance of eveyrhting we needed. The hosts were welcoming, easy to communicate with, and flexible when helping out with a special request. We would return in a heart beat. Thank you, again, for sharing your space with us.

Beautiful Beach Bungalow

The place is super cute and convenient to everything! I loved the decor and the host even added a splash of Halloween decor since we were there during Halloween. I would definitely stay here again. The place looks exactly as pictured and the hosts left me snack, a lovely note and a little gift as well. It was perfect!

A humble haven

This place was immaculate! A beautifully decorated space with a quaint outdoors seating area that just made you feel so cozy and comfortable; in essence a home away from home. Perfect location to visit Salem, Boston or a short travel to other neighboring states. Great location to grocery, restaurants and the best of all
 the ocean! We enjoyed our girls family weekend trip lead peeping and checking out the Fall/Witchy vibes of Salem. Highly recommend this place for any trip!

CSG trip to Salem

The house was beautiful. It is decorated just love, was clean and smelled fresh. The beds were comfortable. The living room furniture was very comfortable and very spacious. There were six of us childhood friends, and we often travel together and red hotel rooms. I think I have convinced my friends that renting a small house is much more intimate and a better way for us to spend quality time together.

Fall Girls’ Trip at Bass Ave Bungalow

This was our first trip to New England in the fall and the Bass Ave Bungalow was absolutely perfect! The decor is bright, beautiful and cozy with an amazing kitchen and outdoor space. We loved the beds and comfy couch. Christine and Mike were wonderful hosts and thought of everything you may need to make you feel at home. Gloucester was beautiful, we enjoyed Cale Ann’s coffee across the street and we took a stroll to the beach. It was a short drive to all our fall activities. We will definitely be back and look forward to staying at the bungalow again!

Beyond lovely!

We fell in love with Gloucester last year and had the opportunity to stay at this property this year and will be definitely returning. Not only is the home itself stunning and cozy, it’s close to shops and our hosts were beyond fantastic. Cozy home in Gloucester

This home is located within minutes of downtown Gloucester and Good Harbor Beach. It is spotless and very comfortable. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. We appreciated the snacks and gift card to Cape Ann Coffee. We would highly recommend this home.

Amazing stay in Gloucester, MA

What a beautiful VRBO and wonderful host. This home has everything you might need during your vacation. The short walk to Good Harbor Beach makes this rental worth every penny. We really appreciated the beach items provided and the outdoor shower. We can't wait to return!
