The Neighborhood:

The home is nestled in East Gloucester, a historic coastal neighborhood surrounded by some of Gloucester’s most beloved scenery. The area offers a quiet residential feel while keeping guests close to beaches, restaurants, parks, downtown, and maritime landmarks.



Good Harbor Beach is about a 15-minute walk away, with Rocky Neck, the Back Shore, Niles Beach, and Downtown Gloucester all nearby. The neighborhood features classic New England architecture and reflects Gloucester’s rich maritime heritage.



Rocky Neck, known as one of the oldest working art colonies in the country, is also close by, offering galleries, restaurants, harbor views, and a vibrant local atmosphere.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for exploring Gloucester, Cape Ann, and the surrounding beaches.



Good Harbor Beach is about a 15-minute walk from the home, and Rocky Neck, the Back Shore, Niles Beach, Downtown Gloucester, and other local destinations are just a short drive away.



The Gloucester train station is approximately 7 minutes by car, making it convenient for guests looking to explore the North Shore or travel into Boston. Rideshare availability may vary seasonally, so having a vehicle is the easiest way to get around.



Other Things to Note:

Access to the entrance involves a few steps, and all bedrooms are located upstairs via a staircase.



Each of the four upstairs bedrooms has a dedicated AC window unit. The first floor does not have AC but is typically comfortable.



Traveling with little ones? A pack-and-play and high chair may be available upon request. Please let us know before your arrival if you would like either item so we can confirm availability and have it ready for your stay.
