Welcome to Burnbank! This beautifully renovated 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom home is located in the popular area Woodlands, Glasgow. Blending Victorian elegance with modern fixtures, this property offers the ultimate luxury experience.

The Space:
The property has been thoughtfully designed by the owners, who poured time and care into every stage of the renovation. From restoring beautiful period features to adding thoughtful modern touches, each decision was made with comfort and character in mind. Over the process, they collected artwork and special pieces, carefully storing them until the home was ready—now proudly displayed to tell the properties own unique story.

It is the perfect stay for larger groups and families, and whether it be a short or long stay we aim to provide a home from home for our guests.

At the heart of the home is an expansive open-plan kitchen, large Ercol antique dining table, and living area — a perfect space for entertaining or relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, stone worktops, and ample seating, so, if you're planning to cook a Sunday roast for the whole family, the kitchen has everything you might need. The adjoining living area is complete with plush seating and a large smart TV, ideal for family movie nights or entertaining guests. The property also benefits from a dedicated utility room complete with a washer and dryer, providing added convenience for longer stays.

Each of the five spacious bedrooms features high-end zip-link beds, allowing for either king size or twin single configurations to suit your needs. 3 of the bedrooms benefit from ensuite bathrooms, finished to an exceptional standard with stylish tiling and walk-in rainfall showers. A well-appointed family bathroom is located off the hallway which has an overhead shower within the full size bath perfect for bathing the kids or putting your feet up after a day of exploring. Traditionally Glasgow tenements are only equipped with one bathroom, so during the renovation process we wanted to make sure each room has access to their own private bathroom.

Throughout the home, high ceilings and beautifully restored period features add character and charm, while bespoke lighting and luxury flooring elevate the interior finish, creating a seamless blend of classic elegance and modern design. Every detail of the property has been thoughtfully considered — from the name Burnbank to the convenience of a Quooker hot water tap. We've poured care into every element behind the scenes, and we sincerely hope our guests enjoy the home as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Guest Access:
The property is a main door residence, which is a rare commodity in the West End of Glasgow. You will have access to the entirety of the property including the front garden area for the duration of your stay.

We have added the floorplan to the listing photos to give you a better understanding of the room sizes, bedroom and bathroom locations. We hope this helps you plan prior to your stay!

The Neighborhood:
Nestled in the vibrant Woodlands, Grant Street offers a wonderful mix of historic charm, local culture, and lively social scene. Woodlands is the perfect location to be situated between the West End and the City Centre of Glasgow. Popular attractions such as the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Glasgow University are a short walk away from the property.

Just minutes from the property, you’ll find an abundance of distinctive cafĂ©s and restaurants, each offering a variety of culinary experiences—from cosy coffee spots like Pulp serving expertly crafted brews, to renowned eateries such as Eusebi Deli for authentic Italian cuisine and Stravaigin for a creative take on Scottish dishes. All of these are located on nearby Gibson Street, right in the heart of Glasgow’s vibrant university district. This dynamic neighbourhood truly caters to every taste, making it a favourite destination for food lovers and those seeking a lively yet welcoming community atmosphere.

Just a stroll away is The Stand Comedy Club, located in a converted basement school in Woodlands. It hosts live stand-up shows nightly and is a West End favourite, supporting emerging and established comedians alike. If you are brave enough, sit in the front row to enjoy some traditional Glaswegian humour!

Cameron’s Bar is one of Glasgow’s classic, long-standing public houses located at St George’s Cross, a short walk from the property. Fun fact, in 1970, Paul McCartney was photographed by his wife, Linda McCartney, standing outside the establishment holding a brown paper bag—believed by many to be a "cairry-oot" (alcohol purchased to consume elsewhere). This image has since become a cherished piece of Scottish pop culture and is prominently displayed inside the pub. One for any Beatles fans!

Getting Around:
We provide all guests with a detailed guidebook with all transportation routes to and from the property. With the M8, subway and bus routes at your doorstep, you cannot get more central than this! You will have plenty options no matter where you want to be.

Other Things to Note:
The property can comfortably accommodate 10 adults and 2 children. We have 5 bedrooms which can be split into a king bed or 2 small single beds. We also have 2 hideaway beds that are suitable for small children. If you need a cot and high chair please do let us know.

We will ask you for the bed set up prior to your arrival so we can let the cleaners know and prepare the property as you like.

Please note the lead booker must be over 25 for insurance purposes, and we do not accept stag or hen parties.
