At the heart of the farm sits the spectacular cottage paired with a striking barn conversion, a dazzling hub for gathering and entertainment. Here you'll find plush seating by the fire, a full-size pool table, darts, and even your very own private bar. Step seamlessly from this vibrant space into a serene spa hideaway, where an infra-red sauna, rainfall shower, and wood-fired hot tub await. From the bubbling warmth, take in panoramic vistas of Glasgow's skyline framed by endless rolling countryside. Whether your stay is filled with spirited evenings among friends or peaceful, restorative moments with family, Barraston Farm sets the perfect stage.

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area has been thoughtfully designed with both style and practicality in mind. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a Nespresso coffee machine for your morning pick-me-up. Gather around the dining table for six or, when hosting larger groups, make use of the additional dining room that seats 16. The inviting living space features a woodburning stove and soft seating, ideal for unwinding after a day of adventure. A glass-panelled door opens directly to the rear garden and patio, where sweeping views of fields stretch out towards the distant city skyline.

Perfect for larger groups, Barraston Farm welcomes up to 16 guests in luxurious comfort. The main cottage includes three beautifully decorated bedrooms, while the self-contained bothy provides its own en-suite bathroom and cosy bunk beds; a private nook perfect for families or children. Beyond that, three opulent stable suites – Peacock, Duck, and the romantic Dove Honeymoon Suite; add six more sleeping spaces. Each suite boasts sumptuous super-king beds and elegant en-suites, while the Dove indulges with a freestanding bath for the ultimate soak. This clever combination of shared social areas and private retreats makes the property ideal for extended families, groups of friends, or celebratory gatherings.

Outdoors, guests have exclusive use of a spacious kitchen, a large dining area, and a covered communal lounge – perfect for cooking together, dining al fresco, or marking special occasions under the open sky. A traditional former farm workers cottage and former stables, which was purchased by the current owners in 2022 and has been fully renovated to provide the ultimate self-catering experience, centrally located in Scotland, providing spacious accommodation for up to 16:

Cottage Ground Floor: 1 step down to entrance door into small hallway with storage cupboard with Washing Machine. Open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living area, Dining table with seating for 6, Living area with Woodburning stove and easy seating, doorway to rear patio and grass area with views across the surrounding fields to the city skyline in the distance. The adjoining Barn offers a relaxed space and leads to the Spa facilities with infra-red sauna, shower room and access to the wood fired Hot Tub.
Cottage First Floor: Stairs lead from the living area to the first floor with 2 Super King bedrooms, one with a Twin room leading off one of the bedrooms and a family shower room.
The Bothy: with two sets of full-sized single bunk beds, en-suite shower room, which is attached to the cottage but accessed externally.
Stable Suites:
The Peacock: with Super King size room, private en-suite shower room.
The Duck: with Super King size room, private en-suite shower room.
The Dove: with Super King size room, private en-suite shower room and the addition of a freestanding bath tub.
Outside: Peaceful private garden with seating area to enjoy the sun and panoramic vistas of the surrounding countryside and city skyline in the distance.
