"The mountains are calling and I must go". - John Muir
Nestled amid incredible mountains and the scenic Guanella Pass, this Mountain Home with Sauna offers the BEST retreat for beautiful summer months and the world-class ski season (and everything in between!). Your clean and cozy stay is within walking distance from historic-downtown, bars, restaurants, shops, hiking trails and a 1.5 mile loop around Georgetown Lake. On top of that, there are a variety of Colorado activities just a short drive away! Max 6 adults. Children are 12 and younger.
The home had a lovely cottage, cozy rustic vibe. It was immaculately clean and a great location. It felt like coming home each day as we returned from the slopes. We loved the outdoor fire pit and the views from that area. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Beds were super comfy. I would definitely rent again.
The house is in a great location and I as very comfortable. So many cute antiques throughout the house. The host was quick to respond to any questions. I will definitely stay here again.
We've stayed at this house several times now. We enjoy the house layout and having a well stocked kitchen. It's also convenient access to Loveland Ski Area. Host is proactively communicative on check in and check out. We haven't had any issues during our stays.
The house was extremely well equipped. Absolutely adorably decorated and comfortable. It was located just a few blocks from shopping. It was a fabulous place to stay in Georgetown!
It was an awesome stay! The cabin/home was immaculate, stocked with all the essentials to make several meals and so cozy. Lots of space for conversation, board games and relaxation. Did not want to leave!
Host communicated promptly and easily. Instructions clear for special attention to front door and master shower. Food had been left in the fridge and while I can understand not wanting to waste food, I also do not want to eat someone else's opened peanut butter or jelly.
We were in town for the GTIS (Georgetown to Idaho Springs) half marathon, and the cabin was perfect for our family of 6 (grandparents, parents, 2 toddlers). The beds were comfy, there were a ton of pillows (always a plus!), and the bathrooms (three!) are all nicely updated. Everything we needed in the kitchen to toys and books for the kids. A great park for the littles ones was right around the corner. Georgetown has plenty of good places to eat, and an adorable downtown.
Property was in an awesome picturesque location. It was clean and quite functional for our needs (3 couples). We towed our cycles in and had 3 small trailers and vehicles. Parking was tight but we made it work with the help of one of the next door neighbors. Several cars would not be a problem. Pretty close to dining, shopping and local pubs. Georgetown is booming with new construction but yet has a very historical vibe. Train and mine tour was pretty cool. The mountain passes on motorcycles were breathtaking!
Things were great and as described. My wife did say that she wanted to point out that some kitchen utensils had crud on them. Not criticism but just to let you know.
The house was great for my family of 5 (2 adults 3 teenagers). We enjoyed the spaciousness and amenities (especially the sauna). Very clean as well. Owner was also very responsive with my questions.
This property looks small from the front but goes back quite far and has a large basement. My main complaint is that the bedrooms are quite small - typical of an old home. Great living spaces and kitchen!
We had a wonderful weekend at this property with our family. We flew in from North Carolina for our nieces graduation and Georgetown was the perfect place to stay. Great location not far from Denver but in the beautiful Rockies! The house was perfect for our family. Very clean, comfortable and stocked. We will definitely stay here again!
Gorgeous, cozy, and comfy (yet spacious!) stay for my family's holiday mini-vacation. The home is nestled back from the quaint town but within very easy walking distance to the main street with a lovely cafe and great brewpub type place (with Detroit style pizza!) and more. We loved the modern yet rustic feel of the home and how there's enough space to spread out but also gather together again for board games and family meals. Super close to skiing at Loveland Valley & Basin.
