Step into this classic red brick home and be greeted by fresh paint and modern touches that maintain the home’s character while elevating its freshness. The home comfortably sleeps 8 with the added sofa bed and is laid out over one level, featuring three bedrooms, a main bathroom, a kitchen, a living and dining room, and an outdoor entertainment area.

Upon entry, to the left is the main bedroom with a King bed, followed by the second room with a Queen bed and built-in robes. The main bathroom, situated between the second and third bedrooms, features timber panels that add warmth to the white amenities, including a shower, toilet, and vanity with a hairdryer. The third bedroom includes a trundle bunk and a kids’ play nook.

Across the hall from the third bedroom is the living and dining room, which includes a round 4-seater dining table, a three-seater fold-out sofa bed, two plush armchairs, and a smart TV. The living room also hosts a split system air-conditioner, ensuring the home remains cozy and comfortable year-round.

At the end of the hall, you’ll find the contemporary kitchen with display cabinets and modern touches, including a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven, gas stove, and a washer & dryer machine tucked under the corner bench, with an iron and stick vacuum in the pantry. Through the kitchen side door, step onto the patio, which features a 4-seater outdoor set, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the chirping birds in the nearby tree.

While there is no garage access, the streets are quiet and offer free parking.

Guest Access
The property is fitted with a digital lock, allowing you to head straight there at check-in. 48 hours before your arrival, you’ll receive specific details on the property’s location and access code. There’s no need to visit our office to collect keys. Note that street parking is metered during business hours.

The Neighbourhood
Located on York St in Geelong, just outside the CBD, the property is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to the heart of Geelong CBD, where you can enjoy numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops. Eastern Beach/Geelong Waterfront is a 7-minute drive or a 30-minute walk along the coastline. For more cafes and eclectic shops, Pakington Street is a 15-minute walk or a 4-minute drive away. Avalon Airport is a 20-minute drive, Melbourne CBD is 60 minutes away, and Torquay is a 30-minute drive.

Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle, public transport via the local bus network is accessible around the corner, about a 5-minute walk from the property on Mercer St/The Esplanade. You can catch Route 20 – Geelong Station – Corio SC, which takes you to the Geelong railway station or a short 15-minute walk there. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

We ask that every guest read and understand our booking terms summarised below. Breach of these terms may lead to the cancellation of your booking before or during your stay.

1) Prohibited Activity
- Parties that cause disturbance to neighbours are strictly prohibited during your stay. Events, functions or visitors can be permitted upon prior request on initial booking. All our homes have noise monitoring devices installed. These devices do NOT record conversations and only monitor the db level in the room.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in extra cleaning fees.

2) Departure
- We ask that you leave the property reasonably tidy and secure on departure. This includes washing of dishes or stacking the dishwasher and turning it on as you leave, rubbish placed in bins, all personal belongings removed from the property, securing windows and doors, turning off heating/cooling and turning off all lights.
- Please note that we will charge additional cleaning fees should you choose to leave the property in an unclean or untidy manner.

3) Cancellations
- Please ensure you read and understand the cancellation policy once you have booked. We provide free cancellation with a full refund within 24 hours of booking regardless of the policy, allowing you time to acknowledge and understand the terms of your booking. After 24 hours the policy you have booked is now applicable.

4) Damages, missing items or unexpected cleaning
- All breakages and damages must be reported to Mibnb. Failure to report them will likely result in an extra charge applicable to the cost of the damaged items. No contents are to be removed from the property. Charges apply if an item/s is taken and not returned.
- Damaged, torn or stained linen, sheets, towels, donnas, quilts, pillows and couches will be charged at the applicable replacement cost
- If extra cleaning is required this is charged at a per-hour rate with public holiday and weekend surcharges applicable.
- If there are any charges applicable after your stay we will communicate these with you including providing photographic evidence for your reference.

5) Pets
- Pets are NOT permitted at this property

6) Complaints
- If there are any issues upon arrival, please contact us via the booking channel for assistance.
- We will require photos should you wish to claim reimbursement for any issues reported
- We will do our best to rectify any issues promptly to ensure an enjoyable stay. A high-level guest experience is of the highest priority for our entire team.

Wow! We had the most comfortable and homely stay. Fit for two adults and 5 children (aged 15, 13, 11, 10 and 6). Large kitchen to allow meal preparation. Spacious beds and a set of bunks for your little climbers. Small deck outside where you can enjoy a glass of wine while supervising your children. Located in a quiet street, directly across from a small playground and within minutes of a supermarket, shops and the main beach front. Only a quick drive to the Surf Coast and Adventure Park. Perfect for larger families who want the comforts of home on holiday. In addition the service provided by Michael and staff was incredible. Kept well informed beforehand, and available if needed to answer any questions. Also went above and beyond to help located some items left behind. I rarely rate accommodation 5 stars, but this place deserves its high rating. A holiday to remember for us and a place we would return to in a heart beat.
